Can't say Cassian really made much of an impression on me, to be honest. He was this conflicted guy who argued with Jyn a lot and tagged along with her on the final mission, but I don't remember any really great or badass moments involving the character. And his outfit looked rather dull and generic as well.

I wouldn't be surprised. It would be kind of like Stormtrooper Luke and Han. I generally stay away from variants, but that would be a good one.

Has anyone rewatched ANH after seeing RO? Rewatched it last night after reading an article. It's a pretty cool experience.

I did, the very same morning after the midnight showing. It adds so much to it. A feeling of urgency and of scale to the conflict!

Yeah, I don't quite get the desire to have a fig of him. He was fine (few decent bits,) but nothing that would make me want to pay $220+ for a fig of him. Figs are just so expensive now. And his outfit was pretty dull (though the Hoth-esque coat would be a nice inclusion.)

Maybe it's the euphoria of just seeing the movie that's making these longer lists including Cassin. For me figure-wise, Jyn, K2SO and death trooper - maybe Krennic and Immwe - covers RO on the shelf.

Cassian was cool. He was certainly a new thing to SW: a good guy that wasn't good many times. If Han shot first...

Cassian shot an ally in the back.

I think because he's basically the second main lead. They made Captain Phasma and she's in the movie for about 3 minutes. I thought he, and the movie, showed an interesting more nuanced view of the rebel alliance.

Not sure I'd want a figure of him personally but can understand why others would.

I like Tarkin as a character and I thought they did a great job with him in the movie. But for me, he's not visually interesting enough to want a HT figure of him. But given his importance in the Empire I can see why others would.

I would definitely want a Cassian figure though. I really liked his look with the blue Hoth Han-type jacket. That could probably make for a deluxe version based on what we got with Jyn. Like Jyn he also had quite a bit of variation with his basic costume. And like WesMordine said, his character along with that General helped show a different side of the rebellion which I thought was interesting.

I gotta say, I've seen the movie twice and I'm still not entirely clear on why Cassian shot that guy. I suppose he was concerned the guy might talk and give him up once the Stormtroopers caught him, but that still seems like quite a leap and overreaction on his part.

Remember the rest of the flick? He was probably ordered to like he was in the other two cases.

Hmm, hadn't considered that but I guess it makes sense. Although I wish the movie had been a bit clearer about the motivation, since I think it could still be read as him just trying to save his own hide.

Someone else mentioned it in a different thread, but I guess in his speech to Jyn in the U-wing, you're supposed to think of things such as that.

This is what I assumed as well because

the already very nervous/twitchy guy started to freak out and said there was no way he could climb up there to get away

I'm glad Cassian is wearing his blue coat. Hopefully when the HT comes out it's an optional look like Jyn and TFA Han.

Do these Cosbabies really guarantee it'll be done as a Hot Toys figure? Do they ever not make it a HT?

It would be disappointing if they only make the crapbabies of Krennic and no 1/6 figure.
