Unfortunately... NO Tarkin.

I doubt they could show a Tarkin until 2017. Probably an embargo in place due to a spoiler perhaps?

I don't know all of them but I know they showed a Jedi Luke and Royal Guard that obviously haven't been made in 1/6, though Luke has been rumored for a long time.

I'm not going to feel at ease until Tarkin and Krennic are announced. We all thought Poe and Hux were shoe-ins to be made, but a year later and nothing.. That tweet from a few goes back is reassuring though.

Cassian and Krennic much different roles in R1 than Poe and Hux in TFA. It'd be an epic fail without those two from R1. While I wouldn't mind Poe or Hux not a big loss IMO.

It wasn't a tweet. I asked JC Hong on Instagram if he would ask Howard Chan to make Tarkin, Krennic and Cassian. He replied 'Oh yes! ' and liked my comment when I said I look forward to seeing his paint on Tarkin.

HT are so mysterious it's entirely possible this will lead to nothing and this time next year we'll be balls deep in Guardians and Spider-Bollocks, but hopefully something is in the works. If they're halfway intelligent and have someone doing market research, the last week here should be a HUGE signpost on what their customers want.

I gotta say, I've seen the movie twice and I'm still not entirely clear on why Cassian shot that guy. I suppose he was concerned the guy might talk and give him up once the Stormtroopers caught him, but that still seems like quite a leap and overreaction on his part.

I figured because the guy said he wouldn't be able to escape and he seemed pretty on edge already, Cassian realized that to protect the information- that there was an Imperial defector with big info- he had to silence any potential leak. Tivik also presumably had a lot of info about the Rebel Alliance as well as Saw's group on Jedha. In a John Le Carre book, that character would be the first to go.

How I saw that scene as well....
