The last great comic book movie that wasn't a cartoon was The Winter Soldier 2014.
I love Infinity War, but it was very much a cartoon, from Tony Stark's wondertech armor to all the literally animated villains.

I just put "great" and "endlessly rewatchable and quotable" into two different categories. Otherwise I'd be forced to declare AOTC great with as many times as I've watched and quoted that stupid movie, lol.I did forget about this movie. I really like it, but I'm not sure it is great. Like endlessly watchable and quotable and all that.
Maybe its just because I watched TWS again recently -- its always on along with GOTG -- and it is just such a great action movie. Never stops moving. Best hand-to-hand fight in years. And a nice, big boom-boom finale.

First it was Majors now Marvel about to lose their Namor as well with Huerta accused of sexual assault.
Marvel better stick to animation lol
Yeah, they initially announced it as part 1 as I recall, but when that wasn't there on the posters I thought they changed their mind. Around the 2 hour mark it also was very clear to me they weren't going to wrap this up in one movie. My kids were annoyed with that.Really really enjoyed this but I didn't realize it was a part one and I was wondering how they were going to wrap all of that up when we were already 2 hours in lol. Also, I am pretty much locked in as Spider Dad for Halloween.
