i had a classic version, but sold it. it's a great statue but not worth what people are paying for it imo.

okay, thanks everyone for their opinions on these pieces. i think i'll pass on the negative zone for now. sounds like most believe that these are nice pieces, but unlike the doom pf, most agreed are not worth the extra money.
though if i were to get one of the 2 i think it would be the red/black version.

for now i will keep a look out for a reg version red/blue pf or ex, and spend the money saved on some other items.

You just alerted a worldwide forum of a piece ending today that for the highest bidder might have led to being screwed on this piece.

As for the PFs I love my Spidey PF, I got him far below retail but I would have paid retail pricing on him. The best of the three IMHO is the Classic but not good enough to pay Doom prices for.

Red/black version is the only one I want, the others lay by the waste side...

i actually prefer my neg. zone over the others. but when i was a young lad i remember having a neg zone action figure, so thats prolly why i decided to get that color scheme over the others. i love the black lenses in the eyes as well. the pose is ok, it could b better. i admit i payed more than what it might b really worth, but i plan on keeping it cause i dont think sideshow will make anymore spidey pf's, its just comiquettes from hear on out and i prefer the alternate costumes of spidey than the originals. Iron Spidey!

I saw a regular red/blue PF on ebay yesterday close around $310. Before that I've been seeing them average around $350

damn, a completely numberless retro spidey showed up a few months back for 800 BIN. i sent the seller a pm, waited about ten minutes for a response, figured 'f--- it, if i fesitate i'll miss it', clicked buy it now, and it was gone.
i wanted to check with the seller about the absence of numbers, but missed out. oh well, got all 3 for 'cheap' a bit later.

yeah an ex just sold the other day for just over $500 i believe. guess i'll just get a regular or ex red/blue version for now and maybe i'll airbrush him.

idk.....from the consensus round here, no one on this forum would pay that much for one cause everyone seems to bash the neg zone, the one before went for like 1400 shipped

yeah the only reason for these prices, is the extremely low es (of course). there's no way, at least from everyones opinion on this thread that this statue should be valued as much as the pf doom ex.
at least not on quality, maybe on quantity but with only 75 made, we're comparing apples to oranges.

ps. this brings up the old arguement of worth to an individual and value to the masses.

I've owned the classic and the neg zone Spidey PFs... Both are weak and not even worth retail price.. The polystone cloth combo is forced and doesn't work and his pose looks like he is ready to drop a loaf.

Thats money!.... i totally agree, the pose really kills it... the GG is freaking awsome though.

I actually love the pose of the PF Spidey. And the Retro version is the must have of all 3. By itself, it looks good, but it's when it's posed with all the other Marvel PF heavy-hitters that it looks great. You've gotta have a PF Spidey if you are a PF Marvel collector.
