yeah same here, though i have the room just no curios or cabinets to put them in. thinking of going with a custom displays with mustang component shelving, that way a person can have different levels and different size shelves in the same display.

but anyways i feel ya man. i have alot of nice stuff either boxed or in cupboards/closets that i have to get out to enjoy.

For Displays........Yes IKEA is MY Friend My Apartment Is NOT..........:rotfl

By The Way What is the Name of Those Storage Units.... They are the Big Daddy of The Detolfs For sure....

yep i've got some many led lights from ikea, i think i could light my whole house. nice that they have so many different and sleek/unique version available.

but man that's some nice displays there. i didn't know that they had clear glass doors. all i've seen is frosted units when i've been there.
did they come with black interiors or did you have to paint them.

I've got the PF's in the Besta shelves. Color is actually black-brown. You can get clear glass doors like the ones I have and also glass shelves (hold around 22 lbs I believe.). The other set of shelves on the left is the Billy. The units are cheap..it's the glass doors that add up.

Bonedaddy don't go offline I need to know exactly what those cabinets/curios are named and links!!! PLEASE!

edit: I didn't see ur post until i replied all ready... Sorry for the double post on asking the same question.

p.s. Oh and I've been saving for $1500 dollar curios a piece they have to cheaper than that, I was planning on getting two of these MF's for about $3,000.00 plus shipping but they were mega nice, kind of the style that you have only thicker and a lil more modern but I would be happy with your setup!!!

I got the Besta setup you see there and 2 of the Billys (the one on the left) for less than $1600 after tax.

Go here https://www.ikea.com/ms/en_US/rooms_ideas/store_and_organise_08/index.html

Click on storage planner and you can play around with the different setups.

I was shopping for curious as well but price was a bit much and the weight limits on the shelves were a problem too.

actually skiman if your handy with a mitre saw and get some moldings it don't take much to make ikea cabinets look custom made and built-in.

Yeah actually my buddy has one from work or workshop saw in his shed at his house since he does wood stuff but he's been so busy lately that I'd hate to bother him plus he's getting married and soon on a honey, just wrong timing to bother him with a project for us to work on...

I did think about it though ...

Did u get glass doors in aluminum? I think I see the option for either in white or aluminum...

Yes...Tombo in aluminum 23 5/8 x 25 1/4

9 of them for my config $$$

Ok sorry for the other question but where did u get ur lights is that something I can through them as well... Again sorry about not thinking of all my questions at once, just really excited about this!!! Also seems like the center space doesn't get a glass pane for some reason is that something custom that u had to add or ask them?

yea they have those along with other led lights, probably have to go in store for those though.

i have some here, and i think they were around $40 for a set of 4 strips, and they run off of one transformer. so each box needs one strip.
if you centralize the tranformer, each strip has a very long lead wire so you don't have to worry about to short of wires.

Thanks man, I found out how to add the doors and window panes, sorry about the million questions, just read the help and of course it's the drag and drop, I think it covers them all once u select what window pane u want but it just looked darker in the center because the decorations they have on the palanogram don't cover the background as much...

Really do appreciate the help guys!!!

edit: and white is really cheap compared to black brown

Tell me about it with the glass doors($50 per door). After buying the 3rd glass door, I couldn't get it to fit right for whatever reason. It overlapped pretty badly (by an inch)...So I winded up leaving the top shelf without a door. How did you manage to get your doors aligned like that?
