It seems like they ARE remaking the AC figures in the Kai style.
I don't know if that's a good thing. If they're anything like the dissida figs...I guess that's pretty good.

Wow! if they announce that they are gonna do the whole playable characters roster including cid and barret im gonna get em! its such a shame they didnt get some love on the game version release.. i never liked the first version of the AC line 
so wheres the announce of the next god damn MGS figure? we know its raiden from mgs2 so just make it already...........whens the next convention? there has to be something soon. all were waiting on is raiden from Mgr and theres a white variant thats just a repaint. those dont count. cmon PAK!

No new announcements for a bit (over the holidays) according to my SE rep - as of now, most things are scheduled and being worked on, though I think there are some waiting until Feb Toy Fair and NY Comic Con - most companies at this time of the year don't do product announcements in USA until Feb
Awesome so that means we won't see another figure till the end of the summer

As classic as ol' VII it is, but I vastly prefer the AC costume/weapon/vehicle/monster (so I guess everything) designs.
I don't think any other bike can have me drool like the Fenrir. Would be awesome in 1/6.

i find the first gen really skinny and pale for the skin tone. lets just hope we dont get a messed up face paint job tough

They were pretty pale to begin with. Asian philosophy on beauty.
I don't know why some here are trashing the original AC Figures. They were awesome as hell man. Firstly, their sculpting was/ is better than MOST of KAI figures. Whoever is sculpting KAI figures needs to get fired like NOW. i hate the artistic liberties the douchy sculptor, on EVERY EFFIN figure/license, is taking. its like he just graduated from highschool of the arts...with a GED. secondly, their paint jobs were amazing...hell they still are. I'd like to believe that whoever is applying the paintjob is the same sculptor. They look DIRTY. Like the toys I found in my basement that were stashed away since the early eighties. Hell those look cleaner than the KAI figures...and my old figures were in a flood!
I'm not trying to insult anyone here...if I have, my apologies...but I'm just so frustrated with the current status of the PAK figures. I loved the figures back in the day. FFVIIAC...FFVIII...kingdom hearts. Oh and check this...THEY WERE IN EFFIN SCALE WITH ONE ANOTHER!!!!
I want the team that did those figures. I want them back so bad. And I want ONLY them to do FFVIIAC KAI. Bigger pallete means more detail. It's like getting those figures in HD.
