They were pretty pale to begin with. Asian philosophy on beauty.

I don't know why some here are trashing the original AC Figures. They were awesome as hell man. Firstly, their sculpting was/ is better than MOST of KAI figures. Whoever is sculpting KAI figures needs to get fired like NOW. i hate the artistic liberties the douchy sculptor, on EVERY EFFIN figure/license, is taking. its like he just graduated from highschool of the arts...with a GED. secondly, their paint jobs were amazing...hell they still are. I'd like to believe that whoever is applying the paintjob is the same sculptor. They look DIRTY. Like the toys I found in my basement that were stashed away since the early eighties. Hell those look cleaner than the KAI figures...and my old figures were in a flood!

I'm not trying to insult anyone here...if I have, my apologies...but I'm just so frustrated with the current status of the PAK figures. I loved the figures back in the day. FFVIIAC...FFVIII...kingdom hearts. Oh and check this...THEY WERE IN EFFIN SCALE WITH ONE ANOTHER!!!!

I want the team that did those figures. I want them back so bad. And I want ONLY them to do FFVIIAC KAI. Bigger pallete means more detail. It's like getting those figures in HD.

Once again, if I offended anyone, I apologize. It's just one mans opinion.

I agree with a lot of what you say. Some of the Play Arts Kai figures are good. Cyborg Ninja is a good example of that, but those old Play Arts were awesome. The Advent Children Sephiroth figure was phenomenal.

Judging by your sig you're a fan of the artist so I'm thinking you are :lol

It looks pretty sweet. I will have to wait and see how it turns out first. I've only read a little of Zetman I should probably jump back on it. It's been years.

I am :lol

Have been a huge fan of his work since the 90s:love

I'm feelin the Takeya sculpted one from Revoltech though. The reviews seems to be good on that one. I'm starting to re read I''s, Video Girl Ai and DNA. And just started on Zetman myself. :panic:

I read I's so long ago I barely remember it :lol The artist has always had excellent art though. It's cool to see how much the art has matured over the years. Zetman looks great.

Same here:lol read it again, I'm sure it'll entertain you, as it did to me. I'm reading zetman, as I don't want to finish reading I"s :gah:

Tbh, I'd prefer his older drawing style, as opposed to the style he did now for zetman and tiger and bunny. And the simpler and lighter nature of I"s, video girl ai and dna2.

The only collectible figure I got this christmas is Armored Batman. Now that there has been talking about quality issues I must say, that at least mine is really good version. It has no any actual paint blemishes and joints are tight enough etc. Really like that figure.

Im looking forward to The dark knight Batman and heath ledger joker. Dont like the look of Bane though.

So hey guys, if I was buy the Halo 4 Master Chief Play Arts.. would he be the most accurate version out there?

No play artist figures have ever been scaled right look at the big boss in the sneaking suit and the jungle fatigue variant

Sent from the Shell by codec.

HA HA HA - "codec" - classic! :D :D

Considering PAK figures are all over the place in terms of scale, there's no reason to expect any of them to be in scale anymore.

I just love them for what they are...
