Square Enix Play Arts Kai Gets New Licenses

Yeah the scary thing is these bootlegs are getting very close to the actual product. You probably would never know until you compared it to the real one at times.


Just got my Lightning XIII-2 fig... she looks better than I was expecting! Still, $50 for this tiny fig is a bit much... good thing I jumped on that 29% sale at hastings.

Beautiful fig. I can only imagine how amazing a HT version would be.

Got my Batman today... I freaking LOVE it!

It made me rethink of buying the Joker... But I didn't like the look of the in hand pics, the face just looks wrong to me. :\

I can't wait to get my Kratos! and I might even order the Uncharted figure.

I just picked up my PO on Sunday for PA Batman and Joker. Batman looks like it's definitely worth the price(though I'm not a big fan of the skin paint on the face and the gap on the abs), while Joker on the other hand looks cheap(sub par paint job on the face, cheap looking wallet chain thats floating"

That said, I saw the MGS grey fox ninja when I picked it up, and damn does he look awesome! It's almost 150% taller than bats and joker, which means these are bigger than the previous MGS figure that PA release. Since the shop didn't have any left over for retail, I had to buy them on eBay.

Sharing a Bootleg alert for the Play Arts Kai Cyborg Ninja, source is PTK (PinoyToyKolektors) forum:

Bootleg:

- TCKUGAWA instead of TOKUGAWA
- little to no gloss finish on the mask
- white finish
- Box has a serial number, but the Font/lettering is different compared to other PA Kai boxes (Sneaking Suit Naked Snake, Batman), which are all the same font

- grayish/off-white finish
- glossy mask

Maybe you should raise up and adjust the groin piece, or maybe the ball joint on the chest is'nt atached correctly ¿?

I've haven't even played FF13 1 or 2 but that is a sweet looking figure. I'm actually tempted to pick one up myself just cause I like the design.

Alternate colours for the 'Street Fighter' figures.

These look sick! I can't find any info on them . Anyone know the release date for them?

instead of doing alternate colors , they should make more characters like Zangief, Blanka, Guile, Sagat. A little lazy on SQ. Enix part.

I want them to make Sakura and Dan, but that's not happening.

I think those alternate color versions are going to be available on the Square Enix shop.
