That's the way my Boromir's face looked. I think the factory goes a little nuts with the red blush from time to time.

I'll have to judge when I get my own Praji, but with my Boromir, I actually kinda liked it, gave a sense of flesh and trasparency like you could see blood vessels tinting the skin. I've always thought Boromir's skin paint apps were some of the most alive looking.

Praji arrived just a bit ago... and man this is a really cool figure. The paint work is great (didn't notice over-redness like Boromir), the sculpt is very cool looking as a stern imperial and the outfit and accessories are really kickass. Holster works really well... but of course the suede part looks kinda funky.

Biggest real issue I have is the basebody is pretty crummy... shoulders have a tendency to slide out of poses. But aside from that age-old issue he's really solid and a great addition to the series.

Anyway, here are some pics... tried to take some with both hats (slightly prefer the plastic, just slightly) and sets of hands. One thing I noticed is once the gloves were off it was easier to get a bit of a point on this shoulders... I think the fabric was pushed too far into the gloves.

And for fun with Medi Vader (bit of a forced perspective)

Now I can't wait for more of these Imperials. The DSTs, other Commanders with the grey and white uniforms...

In playing with him a bit more, I have to say I definitely think the plastic cap is the winner. I'm very impressed with the quality of the cloth hat... very well made. But it doesn't quite have the same shape or presence of the plastic one.

And the material makes it look a bit more like a baseball cap, but still very awesome that we have a choice.

Oh, and be careful unpacking the stand... I guess the little pens are in there and I almost lost one :google

Mine were stuck into the trays with whatever that oily crap is that is all over the tray. I had to pull them out to get them out.

I really am curios though, about how Sideshow decides what figures to do. An Imperial Officer is great, and there is nothing wrong with Praji being first in my book, but Tarkin is arguable the most recognizable Imperial Officer in the saga. And the most pivotal as far as Imperial Officers go. Why didn't they do him first?

I am not complaining, Praji is awesome. I am just curious.

I think they chose him as a character to release during the B&W event... he fits the bill well as being in all black. But is also a minor enough character that people wouldn't die if they didn't have.

And you're right about the pens... I noticed there were 2 spots for them, I guess in my haste to open him I knocked them out of the tray :google Luckily I found them.

Prajj was simply the guinea pig for Imperial Officer figures. If he would have come out crappy, it wouldn't have been the "fiasco" that a crappy Tarkin or even Piett would have been. Now that Prajj is an apparent success, I don't see Tarkin (or Priett) being a long delay.

Found one of mine on the floor after looking closely at the picture on the box and realizing that I must have dropped one when I opened it up...

:duh

That's what I said awhile ago, and it's a logical choice. Work out any kinks on a figure people aren't attached to so when you hit one they do care about, you can satisfy everyone.

I could live without any of those others, unless Veers could wear his Hoth gear but also came in standard uniform, that'd be cool.
