SS 1:6 Commander Praji Imperial Officer Image Thread

Just got this today and it's great. The plastic hat is my headwear of choice for Praji. Stellar sculpt but an overly red paint apps. Not terrible but he'll be getting a repaint.

He sure looks lonely all by himself on that shelf just waiting for a Hurricane Vader to bark orders at him though.

I just got mine. It's awesome. Only thing is, for the life of me I can not get his gloves off top switch with the hands. I pulled pretty hard to, but I gave up. Anyone else have trouble with theirs?

Just got mine too.. the uniform needed an iron and the plastic hat will also be my guys choice... the gloves i just had to pull hard (rolled his sleeves while I was at it) ohh and just heated them with a hair dryer to get back on, though the dude that put the gun together didn't get the stock and pin in the right place so that will have to be fixed----
but overall a great figure I need some troops SS

Yep. The sleeves are even long enough to fit on a taller body too. That outfir along with the Hasbro cape and head would make a great start to a Dooku custom.

got mine today as well. sorry im cameraless. love the figure, but not loving the cloth hat. the bill is bigger than the bill on the plastic hat so i cant seem to fit on his head right without it covering his eyes.its gonna be plastic hat for me.

Some pictures on here had me leaning to cloth, but when I put it on him at first, looked ^^^^ty, then I tried it again and I guess approached it differently because it looked great, I'm sticking with it. As nice as the shape on the plastic is, it has a shine that cloth doesn't and the cloth looks better overally with a cloth outfit I think.

I got very similar results by just giving the outfit the water treatment. It looks much better without all the wrinkles.

i think im sticking with cloth as well now that i got it working. and you're right, it looks better with the cloth outfit. great figure!! im glad i decided to get him. looks great for a semi-generic figure.

I actually like the contrast between the cloth and plastic... with the cloth hat it just seemed to blend in too much.

Usually I water treat, but this time my mind went Uniform = Ironed
don't know why
I tried the cloth hat and until I got it was sure I would pic the cloth but ultimately the stiffness and the fact that the plastic one doesn't look bulky (particularily from the front) and has all round good shape pushed the plastic one into service

It was really a great job on Sideshow's part to include both hats, one of them works for everyone, I don't think anyone's complained that neither hat works.

I'll probably give the cloth one another go at some point, I just initially got the figure out the pack spent some time redressing the uniform and by the time I got to the hats was a bit tired of futzing

I hope all the other imperials get the same offerings
The only thing I wish this figure also had was a pair of relaxed gloved hands as the figured looks a bit awkward from behind the way I've posed it

Part of me thinks future imperials, at least prominents ones like General Veers and Admiral Piett may get just cloth only because it would be more important with them than Praji and background officers to get the portrait sculpt right and the cloth could go over almost any head where the hard plastic would proably only get used if they could recycle the mold like the hands. If they have to mold a new hat for each one, depending on how many officers they do, could be considered not worth it. THey like to surprise us though, so maybe they'll all get 2 hats.
