Wow - Arizona has figured out how to control the amount of sunlight it receives by just changing their clocks?

Extra daylight = extra sunlight = extra time with triple digit heat. 112 yesterday at my house. When the sun goes down it dips to 100. We take what we can get.

Daylight saving simple means that it gets hotter earlier and also cools down earlier. The "time in triple digit heat" stays the same, it's just an hour earlier.

I suppose at some level it all just depends on how you look at it. Let me just say I'm glad it doesn't stay light until 9:30 down here as would be the case under Daylight Saving time.
