Very true, if they want me to put down an NRD they need to "WOW" me.
I think this week's pre-order is ok. One more head and 2 more guns. This is what should have been done. EX should be something never be having 1 more art print. (I have to wonder what are the differences besides the edition number?)
Are you talking about the Beast excl? Besides the art print it contains a second hand while holding a book instead of holding his glasses.

Hmm, really? I don't think that is a precedent for that so it should be interesting if that happens. So far it seems they rather let stuff rot for years in their warehouse.

Agreed, I really liked all the features on this weeks NRD with M Hydra, thats what I would expect going forward. The Thor print was a let down for me.
True there is no precedent but they have been tinkering with ED sizes lately on prime and darth talon, TBD on the Thor and this is a new generation of NRD orders and none of them have low status bars after weeks/months. Well, im just hoping to score some good giftcards at SDCC this year.
I just hope SSC makes thing funny ... in Hong Kong ... as I have said before ... buying EX ... has been considered by many as stupid ... because
1. Buy a reg: SRP * 90% (10% discount from dealer)
2. Buy an EX: SRP + shipping ($40-$50)
So, buying an ex depends on how much the statue is, for destroyer it is $80 for the print. (Just dont put in the reward point)
Ok, let use DD as an example, OK when I get it, I can say something like, the alt head and hand look good and if you have the print you could feel how DD looks with the absolute solitude.
One thing about SSC that I think they are getting better is: from Nightcrawler and DD, they both have a very good looking envelope and a same sized print, which if I am going to frame them I wont have to be bothered the different of size
