And i'll love it and those who never get a 1/4 PF who will be begging for one will just make it sweeter





in related news i got this response from SSC after my Cyborg Darth Maul was 20% VAT in the UK rather than the standard 5% for statues...

"Thank you for your email and for your interest in Sideshow Collectibles.

I apologize for any confusion regarding the recent changes of the harmonized codes that we have used. Unfortunately we have recently been informed from various customs agents that the previous code that we were classifying our items with would no longer be acceptable. In order to comply with these requirements we have updated the harmonized code that we put on all our customs paper work. These new codes will be used on all future outgoing orders."

So it seems that all future Statues from SSC will be charged 20% rather than the usual 5%.

So for Beast i'll have to pay around 20%+Fedex Charge at £44.28/$71.02 rather than the usual £18.52/$29.70

yet the shipping discounts from SSC stay the same.

with the acquisition of the DC license i doubt SSC will be going anywhere near previously done characters for a long long time.

No idea where all this animosity comes from but I can wait for Beast, hope they do Colossus PF soon tho.

Mostly star wars PF's, i'll buy marvel comiquettes 1/4 or 1/5, i prefer them to PF's.

Ink has stated he doesnt buy 1/5 yet he's here putting it down, i've got it on order so i'm here to show my support for the piece

But the point does stand on its own i dont imagine with the DC license, that SSC will have time to do both new characters and past characters done again in PF whilst also working on a new license

There'll likeey be a delay on one, a delay on new marvel characters or a delay on past ones getting the PF treatment.

Out of those two i imagine the previously done characters getting a remake in PF comes after new characters making an entry, so it wont be any time soon.

Hopefully not, I imagine they have a quota to meet and the DC line will not affect output of their Marvel line, but as a fellow X-men fan you should wish for the best : )

So bottomline is you'd just settle with the 1/5th comiquette.

I'd also imagine seeing how far they've already gone with the 1/4 Jim Lee inspired X-Men that this would be the time to slow down. Unless you some "inside" information which I highly doubt. Opinion is opinion & at the end of the day it's worth is as much as poo. (Yeah I said it.)
