SS distributes Medicom ROTS clonetrooper 12"

Unfortunately I am a clone freak and I cannot make myself cancel it.

Clone Trooper, Yoda and now Boba Fett, what have I done? I never intended to get this Medicom stuff. Sideshow knows we couldn't wait for these pieces...very clever.

as great as the figure looks, I am just not a fan of the prequels' clones. Give me a stormtrooper anyday.

I think I agree--if I had a Sideshow 12" Fett in my collection, I really don't think that I would have ordered one for $150 today. This way, they get my money twice for sure!



As for the clone, I can do without that one. That's $150 I will put towards something else. If I end up keeping the order, Fett will be my first Medicom 12" figure, and almost certainly the last.

wonder if medicom has any plans to make a chewie? this is the single most difficult character to pull off in my opinion. The walking carpet. armor figures are difficult, but long fur. man, dealing with hair is not easy. If medicom can pull that off, they'll forever to be consider the top dog in my book, or SS, if they pull it off.

I agree. Looking at Fett I didn't have a problem dishing out $150 for it for all the armor and detailing and stuff he comes with. For the Clone Trooper, he doesn't have much detailing and he comes with a blaster.

They did a little better on the Stormtrooper because you can get it through SWS for $130. They should've added more stuff for the Clone to be worth it for me. That plus the scale issue.

Looks pretty cool to me, but I would much rather see an AOTC Clone instead with one of these BFG type blaster rifles. I dig the EPIII clones as much as anyone, but there's just something about the EPII clones I like better. Maybe because they are slightly farther removed from stormtroopers; not sure. Regardless, I'm waiting for one of them.

I like the way the Clone looks next to the Stormie.....If they make an AOTC trooper I'll have to break down and get all three, I can't pass up an "Evolutions" set up.

If MediCom does make more variants of these I am going to guarantee that you'll see at least one of them become the "mailaway" exclusive for Japanese collectors. I'm actually surprised there wasn't one already. Symbiote for standard Spidey, Clark for Supes...I would have figured there would have been at least one colored variant as well as a Jango for Boba as mailaways

If they do repaint these things I'll be all over them. Now that they have the clone trooper nailed they have a load of ROTS figures within easy reach with either a repaint or minor modifications:
501st, shock, utapau, felucia, Cody, airbourne, Neyo, Bly and Gree. I'd get em all.
