In the history of bad Sideshow exclusives, this may be the worst.

Which is why i won't be ordering with SS. It's time for them to make exclusives worth a damn.

I would think with the Buck and the minimalism of it and the recycled parts this would have been a quicker release. It seems to be the standard deal for SSC figures, which makes the lack of non-standard goodies with him a bit dissappointing.

Not sure I understand your logic... the figure still takes the same amount of time to reproduce at the factory, and there are a bunch of things scheduled ahead of it. Sure, it may be quicker to work up a prototype, and they have some molds and costume parts, but manufacturing time is still the same - the figures don't paint and put themselves together Anyway, if it was coming right now, everyone would also be complaining because there's too many other things coming at the same time

I'm really baffled why the uproar over the exclusives with SSC figures.

I'm bothered slightly because at times items are not only not the exclusive but excluded from the figure all together, but it seems like people get upset if the figure comes with a lot but the exclusive isn't the most special cool thing it could be. I don't understand why it matters, if anything you're now free to get it discounted from retailers instead of going direct.

Sticking to the guns and passing for now. I'll pick him up next Christmas for cheap.

Maulfan, I guess it doesn't matter whether the cool accessories are exclusive or not exclusive, for the sake of justifying paying extra to SSC, the exclusive needs to be cool.
While I get to save money in the long run by picking up the non exclusive later, I'm also happy giving SSC more money when the make me happy.
