It's too bad we're not neighbours, you could collect the dio's and 12" and I could collect the LS Busts and 1/4 Scale. It would be perfect. :idea Well perfect if the neighbour on the other side had the whole Weta collection. :lol

That's a great idea. How quickly can you move to Missouri? Rumi is close by as well so we'd be all good then. :rock

Actually, there's a bigger concentration of us collectors already here in Texas. I vote everyone moves here.

HA! Ain't sharing my stuff with nobody!!! :D Actually, my son got into collecting the SS/W LOTR stuff when I got him a Fellbeast for Christmas back in 2003 and he fell in love with the line. Luckily, he prefers the baddies and I focus mostly on the good guys, so between the two of us we nearly have the entire SS/W line, with only about 10 pieces duplicated. (The ONLY pieces neither of us have is Daddy Rog and the Moria Orc Swordsman.) He's patiently waiting to inherit my stuff.

I prefer the Big Island. Being on that volcano while it was erupting was one of the most amazing moments of my life.

It's a no-brainer Weta will be involved. As far as their involvement I'd like to see them get the licence [I know it will never happen] for bad guy characters in 1/6 scale polystone only. Whether it be orcs, uruk hai, ringwraith's or whatever they did a great job working on LOTR creatures. Their generally piss poor attempts at human likenesses is another story altogether. I think SS has proven with this new Aragorn PF they are more than capable of giving us the realistic likenesses Weta was rarely ever able to accomplish. Besides, we all know SS will be in it for the long haul. Who knows how long before Weta gets bored and bails like they did with LOTR?
