so no one is going to explain who haldir is? Guess I will. He's the elf that first encountered the fellowship after Moria, he tells them "We could of shot the Dwarf in the dark he breaths so loud" or something like that. Also in the Two Towers he's the lead elf who comes to help Rohan against the Urk Hai.
