Re: Rogue PF

damn... that actually looks REALLY cool... but i told myself no statues......
need to finish her in 1/6th... ASAP....

Re: Rogue PF

it's not that. there are a FEW statues i have. i'm mostly 1/6th figures for a reason.

space.
i have VERY LIMITED SPACE
1 bedroom, 900 Square feet apartment.
I allow myself 1 statue for every detolf. they go on the top.
I currently have 3 statues, and 2 detolfs.

:lol

Re: Rogue PF

Which PF is going to come out first? Cyclops or Rogue? Not like it matters cuz I will prob get both since I already have Gambit which is AWESOME!!!!

Re: Rogue PF

Can't wait until this comes out for pre-order. Hopefully Cyclops has a light up as Sideshow wanted to do it as long as the factory can make it happen. Both of these statues might be the ones of the best.

Indeed! I love the fact that their tight fitting clothing appears to be sculpted (the way it should always be :lecture) and fabric appears to be used only on other aspects.

Ahh, that space constraints bite, which 3 do you have? I'll have to cut back too cos of that.

Yeah, I was always a big fan of sculpted clothes especially in Marvel pieces.

Re: Rogue PF

You, fuzzy? I thought you were all about the fabric. Or was it just the 1/4 scale that you love so much? I reckon I sorta already know the answer to that.

All about the fabric? Damn you don't know me at all :( I just want it all in scale so they display well together and I can mix and match. Just personal preference.

As an artist myself, sculpted cloth is a throwback for me to great sculptures throughout history and some brilliant stuff that I've seen firsthand all over the world. For some stuff, you just can't achieve the dynamism of fully sculpted pieces. For instance, like the wind blowing in a cloak.

Oh, fuzzy! I said I already sorta knew, brother! You just always tout the PFs so much and have for so long, that I guess I might have sorta lost track of exactly why you loved them so much. Please to be forgiving me. :(

Some PFs are great in the use of cloth like Red Skull, Doom etc. Others don't bother me as much, it's just when the cloth occludes the muscle definition like Sabretooth that I feel a fully sculpted piece would be better represent the character from the comics to me. That's why I feel the Spidey Com rocks Spidey PF. I just love the larger scale pieces ever since I got Venom comiquette, and his presence and size blew the smaller pieces out of the water, so I want to cut back to larger scale stuff barring space constraints.

The good thing about cloth jackets tho' is you can remove them and display the piece both ways.
