I know that you feel the same way. I'll just take my chance with the machine. Set a program, one or two person(s) needed to run the machine, and money saved on the overhead you cut with painters that don't care anyway.

I wonder if the let down on these is going to not drive her price up like everyone thought. Gambit might tank a little as well now. Seems like everyone is pretty let down on what people were assuming was a sure hit in the making.

I wonder if the let down on these is going to not drive her price up like everyone thought. Gambit might tank a little as well now. Seems like everyone is pretty let down on what people were assuming was a sure hit in the making.

Might keep the prices down a little, but she is still going to do well because she is sculpted beautifully and it's only paint issue with this PF. For a good amount of us around here that's an easy fix.

Well I don't know who that guy was that posted at SF? I do question why the mods deleted the guy & not the entire posts. That mofo Monster is a character there!

Otherwise I am doing good. I haven't really decided if I want to to post my collection here & I don't feel like I need to tame it down because of some peeps who have nothing better to do then b*tch.

But I will post the Rogue pics here due to so many issues with her. This paint job by SSC needs to be better.

You know that folks change when you get a little power behind you. That's why the old adage says..."Absolute power corrupts absolutely" Some just let it go to their head and forget where they came from. A good mod is firm but fair. That should go for anyone that's in charge of others.

C'mon people!!! Stop the whining and the bickering. Instead of storming this thread with all the frustrations on how paint job is sloppy on the EX bandana, how wonky the eyes are on the REG, how the face needs a little makeup and eyebrows/eyelids are too dark and the ass looks different and blah blah blah......nothing good will happen this way. Not now or anytime in the future. You want to make things better take it to sideshow customer service and tell them to stop sending their products to china for mass production and painting. Why send it there when the best talents are here in the US. When that happens then there would be better quality control for each product. Its that simple. Arent you guys ashamed to see their box which says THOUSAND OAKS CA but made from CHINA. so we got owned by china?

ALRIGHT!!! Someone who feels just like me! Especially now with China upping their wages for factory workers. Why not bring some of that business back to America and create a few more jobs for talented people in this industry.

Your points are good in theory, but reality? Not so much.
I design for a company who designs, creates and produces video game LE's, and we do our manufacturing in china, and it just comes down to money, I have seen production prices in items made here vs. there on everything from statues, to printed pieces, to fiberglass lifesize characters, leather goods to metal, to injection moulding, it just costs a hefty amount more to do it stateside.

Most every factory we do business with has on site housing, the employees live and eat where they work...literally, and they get paid just enough to get by.
Americans will never do that.

If it costs $300 retail for a Rogue from China, its going to cost you around $450 or so here in the states, and lets not forget (as much as I love america) we're too lazy to stand on our feet for 14 hours and mass paint statues, you really think people will line up for that job here in the US? I have seen them paint happy meal toys and these guys literally hold 3-4 brushes inbetween each finger and are taught how to twist their hand to paint the eyebrows, mouth, eyes and features all at the same time, because time is money.
