Re: Rogue
I have no doubt that Sideshow will be having some serious discussions with the factory that makes these. Their shoddy work and lack of QC hurts Sideshow as a company.
Perhaps this will force Sideshow to take more trips to China to personally inspect products and oversee the staff there are following their guidelines.
I understand everyone's frustration and I am sure Sideshow is not happy about this either. The main problem lies with the factory though and hopefully something can be done about that. I just don't know how many competitors there are out there that could produce and paint large quantity pieces. I know this factory also makes the pieces for other companies like Weta. (or at least they did last time I checked). That is part of the problem with having factories over seas..you lose a lot of control over the finished product...but then if they were in the states, the price point would probably be much higher.
I agree something needs to be done...but I think before we totally rake Sideshow over the coals...we should wait and hear what solution they come up with.
They have said several times that they would and have addressed the QC problems but I haven't seen anything to prove otherwise. My account was even flagged due to the amount of returns I had to check the statues before shipping them to me. I received both the Predator LSB and Rogue Ex. yesterday and even though my items are supposed to be checked before shipping they both are messed up.
The Predator bust has several paint chips/rubs and my Rogue has the same messed up eyes (though not as bad as some I have seen posted) and a messed up print.
Where is the QC there?
I will say that most of the time they do a good job of handling replacements though.
