Hay Guys

Well i finished up my X-Treme X-Men Rogue, since i loved the story line and this is my fav version of rogue had to make a custom of her. Had a lot of fun making her, so hope you like how she turned out.

I have both the Com & the PF. I like the Com slightly more. Love the classic white dress look. Plus, the Com is just a bit larger than 1/5 scale. I have her lined up next to the other AH X-ladies and she easily towers over all of them. Even just looking at your pic of your Rouge PF next to the Mystique Com, there is no glaring difference in scale. The Com is a beautiful piece.

i also have both and while i love the PF the Com gets my nod also, though for me its the base that does it for me.

What percentage of the Rogue Premium Formats have issues would you say? 50%? Theres one at my comic book shop still sealed for $400 but I'm afraid.

Does the number make a difference maybe? the higher numbered ones seem to look better

Number doesn't make a difference. The issue with this piece is that a LOT of them had very bad google eyes. All of them had horrible black Sharpie eyeshadow too.

So, you could be ok getting one with decent eyes, but they all have horrid eyeshadow.

hmm I wouldn't be able to find someone around me to repaint it either. How could they screw her up so bad!!!??? I dont even have it and feel ripped off

The sculpt of her body is really great, and she looks awesome with her belt and bomber jacket, but the portraits were awful. I had to get mine repainted because I hated looking at her face.

Hey guys im new to collecting and was doing some research and I stumbled across the horror that was rouge. I cannot believe how awful she came out compared to her preview. Had they recently gone to China when that happened? I mean wow what Vince did above is fantastic.

My question is was rouge just a one off and since then have the statues been of great quality? I know there was slight difference with poison ivy (eyes) but the statues normally look exactly like the ones from the previews right? Anywho just want to make sure that rouge was a 1 off I find it really bad that people would pay $400-$500 for rouge and receive that. For me I just want to make sure its not the case with a lot before I start collecting anything.

With your LCS you totally have the right to ask them to open her up so ou can have a look. Then at least you would know what you were getting.

As bad a Rogue was I don't think it compares to the mess that was SpiderWoman. I have seen MAYBE 2 or 3 ment pieces posted up here. Almost every single other piece had major breakage issues, with some of them having been repaired, but the repair jobs done at the factories looked like they had been done by a bunch of grade 2 kids with that crappy white glue. At leas with Rogue it was mainly just the heads, MOST of which were replaced.

It is a crap shoot, but you can always send it back. However, if you aren't Ex crazy your local ADs or LCS could order the Refs for you at a discount, and you will at least get a look at hem and you won't have suck up impot fees and the like if the product is subpar.

Hmm I'm currently traveling australia so I can't check out my LCS but yeah thanks will definitely do that on a few. Good thing is so far I want 8 statues and only 1 I want the exclusive the rest I prefer the reg so that's an added bonus I guess.

I just hope nothing like rogues face ever pops up again

Oh, Spiderwoman's paint job was not done well. Those of us who had no breaks (me) had sloppy paint jobs (me). Mine isn't as bad as some of the other's on here, but there's issues with the black lines in her outfit. Also, my base looks like someone dragged a fork across it over and over and over, totally scratched up. And that's not an uncommon issue either.

Spiderwoman was the first time I ever returned an item to ss for a full refund. I had to keep rogue because she is essential to my collection. I still hope ss will revisit this character as a pf in the future

Well for me, it was a trade deal. I think I sent him a displayed comiquette I didn't really want anymore (can't remember which, maybe Sue Storm) and he gave me one of his custom heads.

I'd do that trade again every time.
