Went ahead and ordered the EX version with the $20 off coupon from SSC. I can't see Hot Toys making a 1/6 Yoda or SSC doing another one anytime soon.

SS is required to include things like that with yoda. If you notice both yoda PFs, he's with someone (PT with 501 Trooper, OT Yoda with Luke). There's some kind of restriction with only releasing yoda by himself from what I've heard from SS, just don't recall the exact specifics

yeah I remember hearing them say that to, but I think they meant in regards to yoda in pf form. not in 1/6 scale.

Thank you very much. I know i'm new to reviewing Hot Toys...but as i said a while back, i think i have a decent enough track record to know a fair amount to decently articulate if something is worth getting or not, even if it's a Hot Toys or SSC figure. The response so far from the boards here has really helped inspire me to continue doing reviews of them and i hope to get better. I've never claimed to be a professional LOL which is why i don't bother scripting anything. I like my reviews to flow and be natural. I always say, how i talk in my reviews, is exactly how i'd talk to YOU if we had a one on one...face to face conversation. And that carries over. I can't tell you how many times i've met viewers of mine that are shocked to find out i talk the same way to them in person that i do in my videos. I'm very happy it translates well. And providing i can keep buying these things, i'll keep reviewin em!

Seriously, i greatly appreciate everyone that watches and supports the videos. It's because of you i'm able to do this. So thank you guys!

The holocron didn't come with my figure...not exactly sure why

You Probobly got the regular release version, as opposed to the Exclusive version.

The holocron was the Exclusive pack-in item only included if you bught direct from Sideshow.

Yea thats what I was planning until Vader gets here. I think I'll put him with Anakin and Obi Wan with a couple clones down the road.

Hmmm...can't seem to get a newsletter from Sideshow. But when it comes to a notification about charging for a figure...no problem, there.

I am not really all that excited about getting this figure. I am happy with the OT Yoda and this one looks a little too...well...I don't know, really...just a little too...something.


But it is a Sideshow Stasr Wars figure so it is a must-have. It will simply be relegated to storage, is all.

I used the new SSC code to get this figure. $40 shipping to OZ is killer, so the code definately helped.

They DO sell both on their site, with the regular edition sometimes being cheaper. and if you place a phone order, and don't ask for the EX version specificly, you might get the regular.

Beyond that, I THINK they normaly send the reg release out for review, due to the limied nature of the EX releases.

as for your review style, you're one of the better ones out there.

You, Thew, Vangelous, and Peague are the only transformers reviewers I ever watch.

You, Thew and Peague tend to give more honest reviews ( yours sold me on the Quakewave figure)
Vangelous is just too entertaining.
