Yeah, I'm repeatedly shocked by how beautiful a figure Jedi Luke is, but now I really feel pulled in by what an outstanding figure Bespin Luke is. So much that I'm putting some of my birthday money into getting one! After all I did to resist, to tell myself "you can't have two of the same character" and "you have your favorite interpretation of Luke, why get another?" I've failed! He's on his way as we speak! I don't even know how I'll display him! What am I gonna do?

Oh sweet heaven, why am I so weak?!?

Oh sweet heaven, why am I so weak?!?

You make things to hard on yourself, you can only be weak when you confine yourself to something. My collecting principle is, if I see it and like it and can afford it, I get it, I don't concern myself with how many of a character or how much space I have to store this stuff. It's freedom baby, and my wallet is hating me for it :)

Oh, btw Josh, that Bespin Luke image in the collage is another shot of tankless Luke, if you'rs still assessing doing the collar up.

Yeah, my only real gripe is that my budget is so tight that I thought I would only be one of each character when it came to Star Wars. Oh well--broke that rule! Luckily I feel justified in this case since really, while I prefer Jedi Luke, Bespin Luke really is the more iconic of the two. At least I'm happy, and that's what counts.

Hey guys I'm new to the forum. Here's my Luke! A supurb addition to any Star Wars collection. A very well made figure for sure. Watch out when you take his blaster out of the tray tho mine also snapped off at the barrel. I called Cutomer Service and they're sending me a new blaster. Sideshow rocks! I might be in the minority here but I think the Jedi Luke looks more like Hamill than this one. I wanted to like this sculpt more but it just didn't hit me the same way Jedi Luke did. I still love love it tho and I'm damn glad I got me one!

I dispayed him in the tank for 2 days and that was enough. When I get back to work I will try the jacket with no tank underneath and see how that works.

Great first post SkullDuggery! :rock

I have one questions for you all.

How many of us here watched ESB tonight?

I did. :wave

Ya, I understand budgets. Realistically, I shouldn't be buying as much as I am, it's hard saying no though when so many companies are making so many things I could have only dreamed of a few years ago. If I could spread this out over the last 13 years I've been collecting, I'd be ok, but getting so much in 2 years time, hits harder.

This is a Luke that's hard to pass up, even if you've got one already, it's just a very well executed figure, nice accessories, well made clothing, nice paint apps, nice sculpt, other than his eyes, this figure came out great in my mind and he creates a lot of temptation for those trying not to get into buying multiples, you forget he's a multiple and just see him for a great figure.

I'll be doing it soon enough, only watched stuff with the family today though, in the pre-Christmas spirit, we watched old home movies and I watched myself at the age of 4 opening up Jabba the Hutt with a big ass grin on my face, nice memories. As for ESB, when I watch it, I'll be plucking out some stills to do my trademark magic on :)

As promised here are the pics of the water treated holster

love my bespin luke!

speaking of luke my 4 month old doberman came into my office where all of my SW stuff, etc. is and tonight i had the lights on the the display cabinets with my PF's and i thought someone was hiding in the room the way he was growling/barking(hair was standing up on his back) but I walk over to where he was at and he was barking viciously at the 1st Luke PF....it may not be the perfect Luke sculpt but apparantly it looks realistic because he won't stop trying to attack it. it is the first time he acted like a "tough" doberman. :D
