cool pics jango! what type of vader is that? looks pretty good.
got my bespin luke today -- not sure i have anything original to add, he looks great, definitely one of the lines highlights so far -- i still think rotj luke is my favorite though -- i didn't have any holster problems with mine & the fact that the pouches on the belt don't open doesn't detract from the figure imho

That's the Medicom Vader. I broke down a couple of months ago and sold a ton of stuff on ebay in hopes of getting him and I've been happy I did.

So I got my Luke today, and I love him, the face is perfect, no blemishes. His eyes are great, and glossed, though one eye has less than the other. his right ar's swivel joint is a bit loose, and needs some attention, nothing i can't fix... but.... His belt. His pistol holster is not attached to his thighstrap. It looks like it was, becuase i can see some dried glue but it's not now. Do you think I should contact SSC about getting a replacement belt, or just re-glue it and be done with it?

I would contact Sideshow. I only fix things myself if it is too late to get a replacement.

I always contact Sideshow if something is wrong. A few months ago my brother bumped into my display shelf and the Cigerette Smoking Man's Sniper rifle took a shelf dive and broke. I contacted Sideshow on the chance they might be something they could do. Sure enough, they had a replacement! I only had to pay the shipping which I thought was more than fair.

So, yeah, contact Sideshow and see what they can do. Worst thing is they just say no (which I highly doubt).

A bit of advice, those of you having trouble getting the gun in the holster, soak the holster. Put the gun in it first though. it's leather, so use warm water. this will allow the leather to streach to fit the gun, and as it dries, it will form-fit. Doing that with mine now, and it made the gun go into the holster SOO eaisly. I used to make leather armor for a living, and it's what we would to to get our customers into their gear for the first time.

Nice advice! Let us know how yours comes out please.

Will the belt itself shrink at all? Mine is fairly tight and I'd had it to shrink at all or I might have trouble closing the belt around the waist.

It might a little, but as long as you only soak the holster part, you should have nothing to worry about. I'll post pics of the water-treated holster friday morning (at work till then, more or less)

Say guys, getting back to replacement pieces. Should I contact SS about my broken blaster barrel and if so what is the best way to get a hold of them?

My Luke's blaster broke as well the second I put it in the holster. It's a very brittle plastic they've used.
