Got mine today... I went ahead and put my first two coats down to get a look at the likeness.
Can't wait to get it done.
And remember, that this is a very very early WIP figure. Nothing but the base paint on hair and head as well as a very minute amount of burnt sienna detailing on the face. Not indicative of the final work at all.
It's a great sculpt Josh, don't ya think?

Turns out my Bespin Luke order was hung up by a technical glitch and would have just sat there for eternity had I not called SSC and inquired about it.
HOWEVER... Jennifer's ensuring that it finally gets shipped out today. Can't wait for this figure.

Yeah, thanks. I can't wait. And as some may recall, I was less than enthused when this was first announced (but happy for folks like Khev). Then I saw the prototype at SDCC and it's been :chew ever since.
Ok Then.. Lets roll out the next Luke ASAP!!!!

Thanks Marc, I actually felt the same way about that one, as I was moving the limbs around finding a pose, I hit that one and it just really felt like Luke's persona in the ESB duel which is why I went for more moody, ground level light source instead my usual individual figure lighting, I tried that and it lost the feeling then I did it this way and it felt like it worked. Thanks Josh and Justing for your comments as well. I have to say, in figure form, I'm really becoming a fan of the ESB costume. I still lean towards Jedi as far as the films, but the way this costume looks and the whole figure looks in some of my images, I'm just having a lot of fun with him and I wasn't expecting to, and even with the scale difference, Medicom's Vader looks so good with Luke.
It immediately brought the scene to mind where Luke is in front of the window he later flies through... Tired and frustrated fighting Vader while Vader is tossing things at him. Very cool.

That's probably where I got it from in my subconscious, I've watched these films so many times and have so much of it burnt into my brain (useful right?) I kinda almost have all these reference images popping up on a display in my brain when I'm thinking of things. Now I'm going to hear that aweseom John Williams music from that point in the duel when I look at that picture, thanks a lot Marc.

Ok, so this has been bothering me for a long time...
Why are blonde characters (Anakin, Luke) painted with reddish/brown hair?

I wouldn't consider Hayden or Luke to have had Blond hair by ROTS/ESB. As with most blonds, they eventually turn brown as they get older. Now ANH Luke and TPM/AotC Anakin should plainly have blond hair. 
I don't think ROTJ or Bespin Luke's hair is painted the correct color either. Both were more of a dishwater blonde in the movies to me not the reddish brown they have been painted.
And this is a bad thing?
No, hence why I own the soundtracks
As for the hair coloring, the shade Sideshow used on this Luke is definitely what I envision for Luke's hair color in ESB, I've always considered it to be a shade of brown. ANH - Bloned, ESB/ROTJ - Brown. It happens, I was blonde as a kid but now I have light brown hair.
