No unfortunately...it rides too high on his head. When Sideshow does this I hope they choose a mixed media approach like the Endor Trooper helmets..

Besides, I wanted to show off that terrific Sideshow sculpt ! And I'm pretty impressed how well the Hasbro outfit works with him...

I still really like the Hasbro Hoth outfits (Han, Luke, even Leia).

There is definately room for improvement, as the Hasbro stuff is a little bulky. Also, hopefully SSC makes the gloves in the gauntlet style instead of how Hasbro turned the sleeves up to act as gauntlets.

But again, in general, Hasbro did really well with those.

Ah, so that's why they had those turned up sleeves. I never quite got that. But yes, it would look so much better the other way.

Seeing those pictures makes me really want to see Sideshow do Hoth figures; the uniforms would look so good, but with Luke, I'd want multiple portraits so you can have his face disfigured from the Wampa and a normal version.

Thanks folks...yes indeed...Hoth is the world I hope Sideshow visits soon. The uniforms and gear are among my favorites in the entire saga and I'm confident Sideshow will really shine with them.

I imagine we'll see a troop 3 pack before we see main heroes in Hoth gear, which is still ok, I just think Hoth gear was the best uniforms of the Rebellion, followed by Endor and ANH dead last. If they do a troop pack, at least there are some named characters like General Rieekan they can do and wouldn't have to make up people entirely.

Another great thing about a three pack for Hoth troops is that the uniforms can be really distinct from one another...from Major Derlin to General Reeikan to the grunt in the trenches...we could end up with three really good looking, well-geared figures.

I just hope all that California sun doesn't blind the Sideshow team into missing what a great design/figure opportunity Hoth presents...

...and I guess I'm kinda partial to that frozen world since I live in it for part of the year

I would enjoy a 3 pack of generic Hoth troops as long as it was supplemented with main characters and/or bad guys.

Still waiting to add other figures to the Endor Troops scene diorama.
