I agree that in terms of quality versus price that Mace is an excellent figure for $55 and I would definately take three SS figure of equal quality over a Medicom Sandtrooper. However, I would take Medicom Jango or Boba over three Endor Troops.

I would maybe take a really nice dinner over the Rebel Troops.

Yes but they have produced the iconic characters that are of a very high quality. Would you rather have 3 below average endor troops or one outstanding Boba Fett???

Medicom has only released 2 figures of characters key to the saga, stormtroopers were rampant but not key to the story line. SSC Has done Luke, Han, 2 Leias, Anakin Skywalker, and Obi-Wan Kenobi. While some may feel that the OT is where core/iconic figures come from, Obi-Wan and Anakin are icons of their trilogy, and so far, SSC is giving more key characters than Medi, and of the 2 key characters from Medi, Vader is the only one that is fantasit all around, the Luke is good for clothes and a body but the head is a tragic loss.

Well some do think that Boba is an overrated background character but that is a different argument. Yes I am comparing a background characters over a popular character but I am struggling to remember the last time that Sideshow announced a popular character done to a high standard..... oh yes - Jabba, and although he was superb he cost almost as much as a Medicom Boba, over double infact if you count him and his throne.

I thought I was going to be a completest, but as I got into sideshow's 12" SW line, I started to discover hot toys and medicom. I started to get some of hot toys and medicoms products and I realized it was much superior than sideshow's 12" figures....and with the price of hot toys and medicom I had to tone down on sideshows SW line, so now I only get the cool looking SW sideshow figures.....which isn't too often....but that is why I am not a completest as I planned to be.

I'm trying to be a completist on Medicom OT Star Wars, which wasn't toooo hard until this year, but still do-able for me. VCD'S included. Anything else, non-star wars Medi or SS are all pick n choose.

I dont think I could cope with being a Medicom completist either. Not because of the character choice but because of the cost. Cant justify $150 on a black stormie or a plain white clone which didnt appear in ROTS.

I think you forgot about Medicom Yoda.... that makes three. And although Stormtroopers arent "key" anyone who doesnt think that they would be in the top fove most popular Star Wars figures needs their heads testing.

That's why I've never paid 150 for one! BH Troopers on sale now, so I'm not paying full for that, only Fett and the Sandtrooper am I going full price on, not too bad. It's totally do-able to get most under retail it just takes focus and being cheap.us

Boba and Jango---full price.

I grabbed a Medi Stormtrooper from SWS.com for $100 and a ROTJ Vader on E-Bay for $80... You can find the deals if you look hard enough. Having said that I don't think that Jango's price will drop after seeing those great teaser pics.
