Guyver, I hope you don't mind -- I'll share some of your photos on our local Facebook group. I'm sure lots would change their first impressions of this figure! Love that new photo with his cape wrapped all around!

Not at all post away, I think collector's need to know that SSC really put some effort in this body this time

BTW I'm a huge Jim Lee and Frank Miller fan all the way back to X-men and Daredevil. I'm excited that I finally have a figure that can mimic both styles well IMO

I always wanted to do this with a batman figure but never could get the legs right

Of course what's batman without running

I can't believe how great this miller style pose works

Sadly was never impressed with the early shots of Superman but I had hopes for this guy. I am less than impressed with the Joker, Harley and Catwoman and after seeing a lot of the "in-hand" pics I'm all set with this figure as well, and therefore the Sideshow DC line as a whole. Such a shame, if this was a $150 figure it'd be one thing but $200 HT prices...c'mon.

I tell you the long eared head gives me a freaky feeling but I like it

Gives me the old Frank Frazzetta style in some looks

But it's going on me quickly

And idea of what the body looks like:

Interesting so they gave him the body builder body type with wasp waist very few BB can achieve this

Some free time shooting while watching the games

I'll till you, it leaves me in awe that I can do a stoic pose like this with him

And then...

This angry face was made for this figure I don't care if anybody doesn't like it.

I really hope HT develops a stand idea like this..effortless :clap

So I've been going crazy waiting for this figure and in the meantime I decided to see if the old oversized classic DC Direct Batman's uniform would fit on a 6 scale body. I easily got it off and onto a kaustic heroik body.
The quality of the outfit is actually rather good and it's fits almost perfectly. Now I just have to get the belt on, but I have to say that the dc direct figure came with some wonderful accessories that our new sideshow Batman is going to inherit.
I may have to throw ilthis costume onto the sideshow figure once I get it tomorrow to see how it looks with the sideshow head, but I think it's going to turn out nicely.

After closer inspection I would say yes. The plastic is hazy, milky white with white paint over it, but again it isn't painted completely.

Thanks!
Should make repainting it a little easier...

As for the way they painted the eyes,I guess they were gong for a shaded/glowing effect like they did on their bust.

I can't wait for tomorrow, my Joker has been alone in the display for too long.
