Re: Official Sideshow Batman PF

Let me give you guys another visual example. People which ordered the EX = blue pants, people who will order the regular= red pants

Re: Official Sideshow Batman PF

I used to think that TBD ES really was TBD, but to say there's less than 70, 60, 30, etc left, they either have to know the number they're making, or they have a specific range in mind, the orders just help to determine where in that range the ES falls.

Either way they must know at this point how many Batman EXs they are producing.

The elitism here in regards to edition sizes and EX are pretty pathetic, even as a joke.

I ordered the EX, but I wouldn't be caught dead in those blue pants...

Re: Official Sideshow Batman PF

I was thinking pretty much the same thing. My guess is that SS has an internal ES that's reasonable and simply announce TBD so they can gauge interest and orders for some period of time before announcing the ES. If interest is much lower than they anticipated they can announce a number lower than the internal ES. If there's massive demand like Bats and Poison Ivy and the number of orders reach the internal ES, they can cut orders off and start the waitlist.

Re: Official Sideshow Batman PF

So I see a lot of people say they really want this to be based off of an artist rendition. I was wondering if Sideshow ever bases their PF off of specific panels from comics as drawn by someone? The reason I ask is because if I wanted an artist PF of Batman the only one I could think of that would truly best this one by far would be that panel in Dark Knight Returns where Frank Miller has Batman drawn to be in this sort of boxing pose while smiling. It's pretty iconic and I think it looks awesome.
