Meh on the Batarang hand, still prefer the fists. Don't get me wrong, if the EX and reg would be charged on my card for the same price, would totally go for it. But the reality is I'm saving a good 40-50 dollars by not having the hand, so I'm good.

Plus, till now, the best shots/pose is when he's looking towards his left (angry head), or upfront (reg head); from both the angles the Batarang is not (clearly) visible.

Anyhoo, whatever the opinions are, the fact is: its either Ex. or FAIL!

Some did it intentionally to avoid paying a non-refundable deposit on a piece with a TBD edition size.

I did. If the EX converts it's gravy but I really don't care for it so if not I'll grab the reg from LCS later and save some $$

It's kind of nice to pay $40 now. Less to pay when finally released.

It's not so much $$ in the grand scheme of things but about timing.
Personally I'm a bit tight on money right now and with SDCC POs plus Ringwraight statue coming soon and Joker in August I need to budget.

Agreed. It's a cool have, but by no means is it a must. I am more than happy with the regular.

I don't care for the EX accessory batarang either. Mostly because of its placement. I just ordered the EX because it's more limited than the reg.

you guys never learn any ex that is not a print/nameplate is a must.

Even the EX name plate and prints the sellers ask for more! And I'm sure they get it too from the desperate buyers/collectors!

Totally understand bud. You got to do what works best for your personal budget. I am basically putting aside $50 dollars a month for this and suPerman so $40 off the top helps.

Yeah I'm hoping it does. I'm assuming you got an ex on Order as well sarakawa? What's your thoughts on the supe Pf? I am for sure getting that one as well.

Supes looks like it'll be my 2nd PF so far, especially if the 2nd headsculpt is angry/red eyes like everyone thinks it will be.

I went through the usual 1/6 Hot Toys phase that everyone does before jumping to PFs, luckily though it only lasted long enough for me to get '89 Batman and the Dark Knight Rises Batman. I probably won't buy another 1/6 scale figure.

HT are what they are man. They are ____ing gorgeous 1/6 figures generally and they keep kicking goals with their new releases, they blow any and all of Sideshow's old 1/6 sculpts away - Army of Darkness Ash anyone?

Yikes. Can't imagine HT putting out something like that. The thing is collectors ARE paying for the improvements that HT has made - I got that 1/6 Ash what 10 - 12 years ago (probably more I can't remember) and he was $75. Whats the going rate for a HT fig? $250? And if I was collecting 1/6 I'd pay it happily coz the figs are ____ing spot on.

Once I got my first PF (Ash PF ) that was it though. He just captured the look and feel of the character so much better than the 1/6 which looked like a limited edition Barbie in comparison Now it's PF or Fail.

If I ever get a 1:1 piece I dunno whats gonna happen.

Edit: I have noticed quite a few people making the jump to PFs of late though- lots of guys in threads for new PFs saying 'I just sold all my HT, this will be my first PF'. I think those HT figs have brought a lot of people to the hobby man - which is cool.
