Question: what day did the Batman EX PF go up for pre order?
Thankfully I was able to secure one but I was surprised to see it on the day it was released thinking to myself "when the hell did they put it up?" I was away overseas for a while so i was def out of the loop!

It went up for sale on July 10th my man. Congrats on getting one it was sold out in 4 days I believe, might of even been 3. Got one myself. My first sideshow purchase. I see your new to the board as well, are you new to this hobby like me to?

I placed my order on the 12th, wow i got lucky!

I am new to the boards but ive kinda been collecting for a few years just never keeping my collection for long which i regret because i could have had a really nice setup by now! I am however definitely inheriting this as my hobby from now on.

Yeah....Oh yeah. As soon as it goes up, within seconds im getting my order in unlike the Batman one where I totally forgot and almost missed out on the EX. Im really looking forward to the man of steel more than ever!

Cool bro. Yeah I am gonna be ready to order Superman ASAP as well. I did the same with Batman and even though it didn't really matter I enjoyed the rush or checking my email and the SS site every 3 minutes all morning. Need less to say I didn't get much done at work that morning .

What will shipping cost to the Arctic man I'm almost the last stop before the Antarctic. Happy for you Freaks who are getting the new Hulk maquette/PF - he looks like a beast yo!

Well I have never actually received a piece yet but I took all the steps to order the Destroyer Maquette as its a large piece and the shipping that came up was $25. So I assume that's accurate and comparable to the other pieces I ordered. I am just hoping to not get hit to hard by customs but I have done some research on the subject and taken some steps to hopefully cut down on that. I ordered the Batman ex as I had to have it but I will be selective in future and order regs from Canadian distributers.

How is it for you as far as customs and shipping? You always order direct from SS? I am at the opposite arctic my man. Close to Santa ha ha ha.

No taxes imposed at my end which is great just the shipping which is anywhere from 40-80 dollars depending on the weight. The Joker is only $43 which was a welcome surprise although he is a skinny fella. SS ship thru FedEx and they always go California ---> Honalulu(sp?) ---> Melbourne ---> Hobart. It takes about a week, sometimes 5 or 6 days if the flights line up nicely.

Yeah that's not bad for shipping. When I first started considering getting into this hobby I thought the shipping would be what scared me away considering the size or boxes I'd see on YouTube and such. Have to say it seems like it's reasonable. We'll see how the customs is when I receive Batman. If its bad I'll probably just have to order locally from then on.
