People are canceling supes cuz of this? Wow, that seems like an overreact. I have concerns about bats but am not canceling nor will I sell him and sure as s-h-i-t not canceling supes.

I guess I really just don't understand the complacency thing. To each their own - it's not an issue of the money to me, it's an issue of being lazy and accepting having smoke blown up ones ***.
If the problem is they still need to cost more, then charge more - don't cut corners. I'd rather pay ANOTHER 50 to have it friggin' perfect.
I've owned plenty of PFs through the years and to say it's always been this way is laughable - and judging by the way they are having trouble hitting dates and selling through stock on certain PFs, customers are voting with their dollars.

I am happy this place is shutting down tomorrow. I think I'll stay away till I receive mine. I can honestly say it looks great so far to me I can't wait to get it. Yeah I can only wonder why the fabric haters are still here. They've made all sorts of excuses, but none of it make sense to me.

- Yeah right. We all know Sideshow will revisit this character numerous times. Even without them, statues of Batman are made every year...an amazing number of them in face.
"I can't live without a 1/4 Batman."
- Then how did you make it this far?
"It wasn't like this in the good old days..."
- If you knew that, why risk the preorder? I see a variant of this complaint every thread and I can only wonder why if the collectors are so self conscious they are still acting on impulse to this extent.
"I wish it was sculpted/ It should have been sculpted/ etc..."
- We knew it was not fully sculpted day one, and that was what...two years ago? Why is this point still being brought up?
"It was delayed for X months so it should have been perfect..."
- Almost everything SS seems to put up these days gets delayed and the delays so far seem to have no actual relationship with how the product turns out. All sorts of figure companies are experiencing delay hell, even Japanese ones. It just seems to be the nature of the beast. People know this, but they still use it as an excuse.
The armpit complaint is a legitimate one as it is something we did not expect nor should we have realistically expected.
Personally I'll just wait for the Batman that is ideal for me. I don't have a connection with the movie Batmans or the main universe comic Batmans. The ones I enjoy is the one from Dark Knight Returns as well as the steampunk one from Gotham by Gaslight. I shall hope Sideshow does one of those or both of them at some point.

I for the life of me can't think of why anyone would be OK with this. Not when the Final product looked nothing like this at SDCC. Not when it had been delayed for a year. Now I know the whole "Wait to see it in hand but this really looks stupid. WTF was SS doing for the past year? Perhaps it's because I am a fan of Batman and want him to look like the comics and not a freaking idiot who can't raise his arms because he put on a suit that he use to own when he was 15.
Muscles and Definition are important on Comic Heroes. Both arm stitches take that away from the piece. It takes away from where the Bicep and the Shoulder come together thus hiding his Build. ****ing stupid! A 400.00 statue should easily top the Koto Bats and this does not except in size.
I will happily eat my words if it looks great it hand. I am hoping with the Head and angel I display him at that perhaps the bad stitching wont matter.... But then again it would be nice to see him from all angels. I have no clue how some of you are OK with this. But you know I still love all of you.

I actually wonder what it takes/pays to get a QC job at Sideshow - I'm not thrilled in my current job and I wouldn't mind seeing the world - maybe they need a collector yelling at them "Are you ****ing kidding me? Get that fabric further up those armpits or you'll be getting a wedgie further up your ***!"
