Yep, like I said, it's only a matter of about a 1/4 to a half inch and some more mass but it's pretty noticable.
I think some one said GL is just over 17 inches on the figure when he should have been 18" and his mass just isn't as thick. Makes wonder about Flash though, and what direction they're taking with him, ultimately it'll probably come down to who sculpts him.
Very interesting to see the differences between the sculpters and that it isn't just style that fluctuates between them.

Bats and the Spidey Com are slightly in larger scale. This contributes to the epicness of those pieces but does cause display challenges with other PFs. I've said it once, I'll say it again...put Hal next to the Joker, Ivy, or the Deadpool PF and he looks fine. Right now I have him next to BiB Spidey (which is a true 1/4 scale Spidey) and he looks perfect. Every once in awhile SSC gives us a larger scale character in a line. I think it adds to the greatness of those pieces. That doesn't mean I'm going to start calling the other PFs that I put around them Coms. All that being said, Hal does appear to be slightly smaller than 1/4 scale. This difference is magnified when putting him next to the Bats PF or Spidey Com. However, put him next to the PFs I mentioned above and there is no issue.
Oh by the way, if you are reading this CBG, I don't want to confuse you. Hal is GL. Just in case you could not figure that out, I didn't want to leave you hanging.

It's hard to determine scale exactly but CBG is right the difference in size between Batman and GL does seem to be a full scale different. GL looks tiny. I am glad I never picked up GL for a Justice League display.

That said to the novice, there is no difference but to collectors you can see it, would like to see a true 1/4 scale GL PF down the road to make the Justice League 5

Really its not, man. You just take the listed height of the character, Batman is 6'3", convert it to inches, 75", divide by 4(1/4 scale), 18.25". The figure should stand from heel to crown of the head 18.25", then you can make the proportions of the figure dependant on body type.

there will always be inconsistency in the scale from one character to another from sideshow. i think we just need to get over it. it use to bug the crap out of me, but now i just deal with it. awesome sculpt overall. if you want in scale statues Bowen looks like they have it down.

GL is a tad under 1/4 scale (I measured it when I first received it), but no where near 1/5. I don't have batman yet, but he looks maybe a tad over 1/4, and he's a much beefier dude than GL. I think people are making too much out of the scale thing. It's a tad off, but Batman, according to the comics, is SUPPOSED to be bigger than GL.

I don't really mind the side difference between Bats and GL. I was going to separate GL from the rest when the time comes because he's going to go with Sinestro...that thing is 30 some inches tall and wasn't going to fit in a besta anyways x_x...

It doesn't really bug me persay, but it does make choosing what to buy easier. I wanted a JLA line up but I'd like them to be a little more similar. We'll see how it goes though.

Great pics guys, one thing I am very concerned about the disproportion weight and lean. Be very careful with displaying this statue. This to me is more important to address than the armpit.
I suggest some earthquake putty on the base to secure this statue.
