Re: Sideshow Batman PF?

The 75th year of Batman rolls on, and seems to be doing Much better than the 75th year of Superman. I can't wait to see if there's any more goodies coming.

I can never get too much Batman. Im hoping they get the Blu Ray release of the 60s show especially since the license issue has been dealt with and BTAS as well. They definitely need to do a digital restore for the newer bigger tvs (such as mine). Also cant wait to Arkham PFs from SS. Hope they do it like the new suit. Looks incredible

Don't forget we also have the Arkham Animated movie coming later this year and the new Series "Gotham". I'm probably going to pick up the 66' series on DVD. And like you said, Never too much Batman!

Re: Sideshow Batman PF?

yes! Forgot about Son of Batman that's also due out this year. It's fantastic. And I just got a good deal on a Funko POP PVC Batman figure and a new Batman mighty Wallet. *Batcrazy*

Lol me too Bats in me belfry so to say. I dont collect the POP. Ive got enough of a statue addiction going on, as you can see, without having to add to it. And I love me some Marvel stuff too. Like grew up on it, so...gotta keep the random purchases to a low. Also bought a house and the mortgage and credit card bills alone are keeping me reigned in.

Re: Official Sideshow Batman PF

I think the only they could get me to buy another SSC batman is if they did a Batman Animated Series Comiquette/PFF. That cartoon was one of the staples of my childhood.

That is a simple, yet beautifully effective display. Me likey mucho.

Where did you get the art from?

It's a Mondo poster from Jock. It was his villian variant. The only way you could score one was by winning a contest at San Diego Comic Con back in 2012.

Have mine in a Besta.

I've always wondered, what would happen if Superman dashes at him for, let's say, a shoulder block, when he is wearing that Kryptonite around his neck....? Does Supes still connect or does he fall short? I never understand the effects of green Kryptonite on him since in the '78 film, it completely immobilizes him, but in '05, he is still able to lift an entire island composed of Kryptonite.....

I've already posted this but here you go.

Awesome photo! I was just curious, is it the angle of the shot or does his neck look very long in this shot....?

I think the momentum of his super speed carries him through Batman. Yes, THROUGH him, lol. I like Batman but completely disagree with the idea that Batman can beat Superman. At some point, Batman lets his guard down and Superman heat visions him from space, or drops a giant rock on him, or freezes him from a distance with cold breath and chucks him into space, OR just wears a lead suit to protect him from kryptonite and flicks Batman with his finger.

I have always thought of the Krptonite effect being more like '78 than '05. The '05 movie was horrendous imo.

If Superman felt like it, he could turn Batman into a pile of jelly with one flick of his finger

Re: Official Sideshow Batman PF

I attended a screening of Justice League: War a few months ago w/ Andrea Romano, Jay Oliva, and Christopher Gorham, and I enjoyed that portrayal of the "strengths" of the characters. Batman could not do anything to stop Superman and it's fine, Superman is an alien with near limitless power while Batman is only human, that's why I feel it is unfair to "compare" the two or debate who would win in a fight. Batman was even smart enough to go off to free Superman when he was captured by Darkseid, and that shows his smarts and humility as he is clearly outmatched against his fellow Superfriends and sees the only solution to defeating Darkseid, getting back their biggest gun. If he isn't as "powerful" as the others, I would have to say his intelligence/strategy is his best asset to the team. How does another human like Lex stop Superman and be considered his arch-nemesis, I'm curious? I never really followed the comics so I'm curious as this is interesting stuff.

Re: Official Sideshow Batman PF

I've heard they are doing a PF TDK Joker. Does anyone know if they will be doing a PF TDK Batman? I also heard they will be doing Arkham games Batman so I might wait to see how that turns out before deciding on getting this one... Is the angle of some pictures or does his neck seem to be a bit long?
