So because I had two bodies I did the pit surgery on the old one. Guess what?? I actually like it better without the pit surgery. I think it looks better in photos but in person it looked off to me. My wife thought so too. She thought it looked like the arm (left arm) looked detached from the rest of the body. Like it was glued on. The "saggy" look in person gives it a more realistic look IMO...

I still had to take operate on the replacement as the body had some extra resin on it so I had to file it off. But I left the pits alone. Go fig.

I think they will but I don't know if they'll do the BB suit first or do the TDK/TDKR suit first. I don't know which is more popular with fans. But I think with the Arkham stuff they have coming out, the rest of the comic characters, and the new movie in 2016 which I'm sure they will make a new Batman PF for, I think its going to be awhile before we see him. I hope I'm wrong though. Maybe they'll bring him out with the Ledger PF.

So I finally got my replacement body to fit in the base.... The advice SSC customer service worked. I used a hair dryer and warmed up the leg. I was able to move the leg enough to place it in the base. Pretty much a perfect fit.. Life is Good!!!

I'm guessing it'll be TDK version first to go with the upcoming Joker.

Look at it this way, they could po a new batman PF variation every year and they wouldn't run out for about 30years.

I was think of purchasing this Premium Format in the near future and just wanted to ask how spectacular it is in person and worth the price? I current have the Supes comic version and WW on order and think this would fix in nicely with them? Any comments would be appreciated, also I get a kick out of all the arguing on this and the Chris Reeves PF forum . You guys are hilarious

I had to grind off some excess around the peg that the right glove fits on to.

For me, it's 200x better with the pit fix. Not even close. But, if you like it the way it is, don't mess with it.

For me this is THE Batman statue right now. He's huge, well sculpted and has couple of display options with the two heads, and if you're lucky enough to score an EX the batarang. Plus Spazzy has some cool custom hands with grapnel guns and other fun stuff in the works. If you like the black and grey comic duds, you csn't go wrong with this piece. Not to mention you have Supes and Wondy in order to keep him company.

This is another possibility and I'm really looking forward to see what they are planning for Arkham stuff. But there will be a lot of whiners if they release a TDK Ledger PF with no TDK Batman to accompany him. Unless they've cancelled the Ledger PF. We haven't heard anything from SS about him in a long time.

This is the only PF I have but its one of the best things I've ever bought. He is huge and the box he comes in is ridiculously huge. It is definitely worth the price. If you have Supes and WW coming you really should get this to complete the Trinity. Also if you can manage to find an EX you should definitely get it.

A 1/4 Arkham Bats would be perfect. I can't wait to see what they come up with. That'll be the next Batman statue I purchase from SSC if it looks good.

Yeah you jumped on the waitlist...terrific, but you shouldn't be worried about whether or not you'll convert. You should be worried about whether or not your newly converted EX Bats will come damaged.
