This is not the sculpt for a fully sculpted and painted piece. This was meant specifically for mixed media I believe.

Or they should've sculpted in some indications of fabric, folds, etc. This kind of looks like a plastic shell or he's naked and body painted. But better pics would definitely help.

I think it's the overall finish of the paint app, lighting and colours chosen. This could've turned out great

They color grey on the piece is way too dark. Of course, it could just be bad lighting. With these types of pics, it's hard to tell.

That needs some work, even with flash it is pretty shiny, looks like a chip on the boot, and no detail to distinguish it from body paint to fabric, shading is little to nonexistent

I like the look of the sculpt, but that custom does need some work. Potentially, a fully sculpted custom could look great.

I really don't get why they didn't simply go fully sculpted. It looks like there is a great sculpt underneath those PJs. Someone is going to custom this and we will all see what could have been without fabric.

Yeah. I just hope for his sake it isn't done. I even think sometimes that the oldschool batman and superman outfits (even the spiderman pf) looks kind of goofy. (Granted this is just because the newer comics and movies offer some awesome views). Now please don't take this as an insult to the statue or the original art, I just can not get into it. No matter how hard I've tried, no matter the character, I just can not get into that old art and writing style.

I would never attempt to make them fully casted. Ever. I'd only buy them that way. (Which is why I'll most likely get a spider com instead haha)
