Oh goodness I hope so. So many complaints should lead to some better QC hopefully. It's funny, I'm so nervous for all the preorders I have coming up this year. I hope there aren't this many problems with their other products.

I got the same day they re opened the waitlist but not till late afternoon that day and only because I read the waitlist was backup thanks to this thread. Thanks guys!

Looks like they did a mass wait list conversion because mine just converted too. I got on the day they reopened the wait list at around 3pm central time. Hopefully will have it in hand next week!

My brother got on the WL last Friday and it already converted. Hang in there. I'm sure everyone up till the end of last week will convert

Well, yeah. I wouldn't mind if it's a returned that has been fixed. But I've heard horror stories of SSC sending returns as is. Not cool.

Strangely the order status in the order list is still "Reservation submitted" in red.

Nothing changed, except the mail I got.

Yes, that is normal. It hasn't yet been converted to a real order so you will see the change on or after January 31st. That gives people a chance to cancel their reservation without penalty if they have decided that they no longer wish to purchase the statue in question.
