I don't think there's any chance of that. Sideshow likes simple one piece exclusives, making the cloth helmet a separate piece would be more effort then they like to spend on a exclusive.

Check out SS's painting pics. The head is a seperate piece, but has no ears. It is likely the production version will be just one piece or at least non-removeable.
