Been dancing with the exclusive waitlist on and off here for this cobra and I'm now back on.

Preordered the standard version, so atleast I'll get one. But yeah I'm expecting my chances will be decent for an exclusive too.

Now we see why they did the weathering on the boots.

NEWB question...why does he have googles on his helmet when he already has a visor?
or would that be more useful on the Ex headsculpt?
It does look like an awesome figure!!

Yup they need to drop the weathering on the figures. Wear is fine, but no mud, dirt or grass stains. kthnxbye

I agree. Enough with the weathering. I'll do it myself it I want some. None of the initial sideshow figures had it and I don't really want it on the newer ones. It looks like they even put stains on the vipers pants (that sounds worse than I intended it to). So much for my idea of just painting the boots. I find it strange that the only reason for the weathering is so it will fit in with a diorama that most of us won't get. :slap :cuckoo:

i don't mind the weathering on this guy, adds more realism to the figure..can't wait!, my first 1/6th Joe.

That Viper looks like a 98lb weakling in baggy clothes with a giant head. I'm not feeling this figure at all.

The helmet looks no bigger then a typical motorcycle helmet, fine with me.
Vipers aren't Cobra troops on steroids, he looks like an average soldier.

I still don't like the boots or pants, but the weathering helps a lot.

I think the Viper looks perfect. These guys are foot soldiers. They don't need to look beefed up. Their power lies in their sheer numbers...
