Pretty sure it was. I think Colton took over after Hawk got the Batgirl treatment and somewhere in there Lady Jaye died and Flint went crazy. I'm really not positive though as only dabbled in the DDP stuff. Overall comics in the past decade have gotten considerably terrible.

Was that actual canon though (DDP =/= canon)? Or just the ____tard was of DDP justifying introducing him as General Colton to command the Joe team for a spell?

According to that Joe vs. Cobra book, Jaye is still alive. Both quit and married after the deactivation of the team. Once it was reactivated, Flint joined back and then again, Lady Jaye and served together. Thankfully, with the continuance of Hama's old Marvel series, the Deliriously Douchy Pantomime of what was Joe post Marvel, is no longer canon.

The more I look at Flint the more he's quickly becoming maybe my favorite figure. Still got a little ways to go to pass Duke but damn they look awesome next to each other.

I'm waiting for BEACH HEAD so I can display Duke, Flint, & Beach Head together representing the GI JOE chain/order of command. Of course, I hope Sideshow will produce and release HAWK/GENERAL HAWK eventually so I can appropriately display the GI JOE chain/order of command.

Beachead is gonna be really really good. At least based on what he looked like at the Con. Oh we'll see Hawk for sure. I have no doubts about that.

OK, so I have been gone for a few weeks. When I got home last night I opened my Flint figure, and was really pleased overall. One thing I noticed though, was that there are 2 misspelled words on the file card. That is spelled taht in and the is teh. Both are in the quote at the bottom. Is it suppose to be like this in an attempt to imitate an accent?

Anyone else notice this?..

Nope, just good old fashioned lack of proof reading or correction oversight.

If we complain loud enough, will Sideshow print corrected boxes and mail them to everyone who ordered a Flint figure or maybe some of the production run have proper spelling and those will be considered worth more?
