And some people are just naive enough to buy wholesale into a marketing ploy. :dunno

See, I can accept that you want to call them dolls, that's fine with me, I could care less. You can't seem to accept that I call them action figures. So, you have nothing better to do except insult my "masculinity" and now calling me "naive".

If you can't accept that I call them action figures, that's your problem. :dunno

No, I just find it hilarious that you can't except the fact that they're dolls. :lol

I had a Barbie when I was a little boy. I was the second child and I think Mom wanted a girl. :(

She did have a t-rex shirt, though. :yess:

I remember back when i first started collecting 1/6. The official websites called them 12 inch figures but a lot of online retailers called them dolls. I remember I was always disturbed by this. But that was before i came to peace with who i really am...a Doll Collector.

I call them either action figures 1:6th figures. I dont care what others call them since they pay for theirs they can call them what they want.

Since I swapped my Cobra Sniper's black uniform for a blue one, maybe I'll use the leftover parts to convert this guy into more of a SE-inspired Commando rather than a pure ninja.

Get over it, and you need to double check your facts. You even posted G.I. JOE called their product action figures.
I've pointed out, that I'm fine with your opinion, but you are clearly not fine with mine. Therefore, I conclude, you are being a retarded trolling jerk.

I did. Apparently you didn't read it correctly. The fact you're forgetting to mention is that they did so because they couldn't get boys to play with them if they'd called them what they are, dolls. Like it or not, "action figure" is just a marketing ploy created by Hasbro, to market dolls to boys. And it's worked. In spades. :huh

I gotta say, I'm with Nam and the rest on this whole "debate".

Yeah, you can call them what you want in the end, but we are talking about the English language here... I can call a turd a rose if I want but that doesn't make it true unless I'm making up my own language...
