Can someone tell me how you get these spook points and cyber Monday points? First time I've heard of those deals. Extra rewards points would be really nice.

Get on the SS mailing list and they will send codes that last for an hour or less. Sometimes they're worth $10, mostly $5.

Thanks for the info. I'm already on the mailing list now, so I'll be keeping an eye out for those emails. I sure hope they do it this year as that would be a good help.

I jumped on this one, after considering getting either a DX07 or a Sideshow ANH X-Wing pilot Luke version, and in the end deciding not going for those.

I already have a kitbash Jedi Luke, which I love (DX07, medicom and HT parts), but I wanted to have another look for Luke , preferably ESB, and this was the best choice for me.
He has the Rebel pilot helmet and suit, lightsaber and belt, two different heads, and you can go for a "snowy" look adding a cool snow effect, or let it remain as is for a Dagobah arrival look. I love the atmosphere both in Hoth and in Dagobah arrival. And I have always wanted to have a figure with a snow effect I can work on.

If Sideshow gives us a good surprise with the sculpt, if we get 2 sculpts of Luke that have a good "scarred" look, this head could be even good for improving the Jedi Luke kitbash, and I could always swap heads with the Jedi Luke and use the DX07 on this one. The DX07 head can also save this figure if the headsculpt turns to be off.

After the "surprise" Sideshow delivered on the Hoth Han, Hoth Luke and X-Wing Luke sculpts/paint I'm really hoping "good" can be added to the mix with this release.

Yeah same as. The proto sculpt looks very good indeed but I think we've all come to accept the fact that sideshows proto's and actual production sculpts are two completely different entities. Let's all hope they get close to the proto on this one If not maybe Jnix can save us!

i feel dirty. i ordered this with a $20 coupon i had....its still way too much. i hate myself, i swore i would not support SS anymore.....

but I'm too impatient to wait 3 years for HT. i hope i can look past this price and just enjoy the figure, because i feel like a sucker right now....

I can’t say I blame you. This is the pilot Luke I’ve wanted. But I just can’t bring myself to buy another Sideshow figure especially if there’s a good chance HT will tackle it, no matter how far in the future.

I’m looking forward to seeing in-hand photos and reviews, though. The proto looks great, so I’m really hoping the final product comes out just as good. If it turns out like TOD Indy (which I have and think is great), then it will be a winner.

I hear you MOL ! I think I'll also wait a bit. Had plans of nice group with HT Yoda, R2 and Luke. But just not sure. I guess the price is the final point which push me into the "wait and see" camp.

I only need the suit. I don't know if sideshow has been inhaling too many paint fumes or if they think this has slave leia demand but they are going to be sitting on these for a long time.

I ended up pre-ordering this one last week as well with a discount. The price should've been cheaper from the beginning though. This has always been one of my favorite looks for Luke, so I really wanted this figure. Hopefully the final product turns out looking like the promo pictures.

The problem is that the prices keep leaping up higher but the coupons don't. $20 off a $170 figure is a decent discount. $20 off a $270 figure is not.
