They did redo them after the awful barrels they used on the Han/Luke - I think in the pic they are pushed too hard onto the gloves, splaying them wider. The proto pics looked nice and narrow.

And jacket fabric looks okay so far - the actual costume is more of a sail cloth type material than pleather, even though it looks like leather/pleather onscreen.

Well considering that Luke was wearing the helmet the only time he was in this costume when he used the Lightsaber, they have Luke displayed accurately to the movie.
I'm waiting on more pics of the production figure before I order, but since I have that extra $15 in reward points that expire on the 25th, preordering this might take another year before I have enough RP to use on it again. :/

Come on Sideshow, post some new pictures of the production figure!

lol @ bowl cut Snowie commander. Yeah I dunno, I love the idea of the Commander but by no means do I think he looks as cool as the regular snowies with his plastic looking weiner shaped helmet.


The ESB Luke snowspeeder flightsuit needs to get some weathering treatment, looks way too clean.

Yeah, get one of the SS people to take off the helmet too ! Or ask if the head sculpt is still the same as the original pics we got a couple of years ago.

Why would they take such awful photos of this figure and put them up on their website, when they've taken better pics of other stuff?

Almost seems like they've got something to hide.

That's the production figure on display. It differs from the figure shown in all the SSC site pics. And let's face it - it's supposed to ship in about four weeks, so you'd think production figures would be in SSC's possession.

It does look good (the jacket construction looks quite accurate,) other than the weathering on the helmet being a letdown. The ESB helmet weatheirng was very dark and mottled - this soft airbrush look really does not look right, and the red of the emblems is still off, though doesn't seem as bad as the ANH Red Five veriosn.
