Yeah, why not have it on display? Unless like you said it didn't turn out well. But please don't be. Be good please. I guess we'll see how it turns out soon.

I have to say the outfit looks really good to me. Nicely tailored and detailed. And the helmeted head sculpt looks very good too in my opinion. I really want to know for sure though, is the helmet removable? I really hope it is, and the specs make it sound like it is removable. I'd like to be able to display him holding the helmet.

All I'm saying is they displayed an abomination with that Commander, so nobody's at the wheel - so maybe not showing the head was just an oversight.

Or... not. We's the guinea pigs... lots of LOL's if bad Luke heads end up "in hand" in our houses first.:rotfl

I think the helmet is separate. This is what SSC has listed:

Yes indeed maybe it was just an oversight. It would've been nice to see how it turned out. Yeah I was about to say I'll be one of the guinea pigs since I have it on preorder. Hoping for good paint apps!

The "helmet with visor and comlink" is reassuring. I just wonder why they didn't pose Luke holding the helmet in any of the promo photos.

Maybe my memory is faulty, but when this was first announced, weren't they doing a non-removable helmet/sculpt and one unhelmeted? I don't remember there being a separate or detachable helmet...

My guess is it's a helmet with interior details, a hairless sculpt that's just a face, and a with-hair regular ESB Luke sculpt. The product listing says that, but the product pics just show a head w/helmet and head without helmet, so it's unclear.

The Red Five helmet comes apart so not sure why they'd change the mold or glue it shut for this fig.

Ah, that's a bummer. Could be right then since we haven't seen the helmet by itself. Don't understand why, but I guess I might have to use the helmet from X-Wing Luke if I want to display Snowspeeder Luke holding it. Indeed it's just unclear to me. Seems kind of weird to not make it removable and separate.

I am really looking forward for this release.

So far, I think except for the oversized gloved hands it looks pretty similar to the proto. I will display him without gloves if they are so blatantly oversized in person.
The helmeted sculpt looks great.
Unhelmeted one, may be a different thing. Hopefully the helmet can be used being held by Luke.

But I am ready for the release of this guy, it is my favourite Luke version, together with Jedi Knight.
I want to receive it, and futz around!

Sideshow website says "May-June" release. Let's see!

I agree that it looks pretty similar to the prototype. The tailoring of the clothing looks about the same. Can't wait to get him.

This is just making me want Poe even more. I like rebel pilot outfits.

So Celebration is pretty much over and no decent photo's of this figure anywhere! I feel like us freaks have been let down
by the SW Geek community:gah: Someone out there must have snapped a few hi res pics of this guy, surely!:dunno

So are you saying he's just missing the one badge on his right shoulder?

Did he actually have that on in the movie or just this publicity still? I don't see it in the below pic, but your friends at Rebelscum are playing this game too.

sorry I could not write anything before. I was just enjoying that comparison pic. Looks great IMHO....

Does look cool.

I don't think SS includes the cold weather cap that Luke has under his helmet. So this is really a Dagobah Luke pilot. That's why there's no Hoth grappling line. :)

The cold weather cap is visible on the fig in a few of the SSC site pics.

Yeah too bad not a lot of good photos even in the videos it was super quick pass by. It does look good though.
