I've decided to pair up my figures for display. At the moment I'm thinking R2D2 needs a pal. I know C3PO is the logical choice, but I've never really been a fan of his cheesiness and annoyingness. (that's just me). So anyway, I'm thinking a Luke + R2 combination wouldn't be bad. If I really wanted to go all out I could add Yoda to the group to recreate the Dagobah scene.

Does anyone know if Luke actually wears this same Snow-Speeder Flightsuit to Dagobah in his X-Wing ?

That's why I'll keep my SS R2 and purchase another R2 from HT/Tamashi. Never can have enough of the droids for your display

Using reward points makes it no more reasonable for me, unfortunately. As far as I'm concerned RP is as good as cash where Sideshow is concerned so using it to offset ridiculous prices is just as wasteful.

Of course if the head sculpt is decent....

:gah:

I'll probably change my mind

:wink1:

This figure remains my last interest and consequently will reap the benefit of all my reward points if it comes out well.

Yeah, yeah, until Hot Toys announces the "Empire Strikes Back" Vader with gantry display... :wink1:

Might be the coolest. I loved the X-wing pilot version on the shelf but the head sculpt bugged me so I sold it in the end. Here's hoping this one turns out well.

Planning to use the full $130 in RP on this one.

Hopefully it's good.:lol

Key concerns:

1. Head sculpt
2. Head sculpt
3. Head sculpt

Also - a repeat of the Hoth fig issues: jumbo gloved hands and 1980's leg warmers used as wrist gauntlets.

:lecture

Never put him under bright lights; never feed him after midnight, and never, and I mean NEVER, take the helmet off. Otherwise he'll look as scary as Jnix's Luke. :horror

look at all this awesome thread activity..!

we are ready for more pics Sideshow! are you listening to us? please more photos!!

Now we just need a 1/6 scale snowspeeder to go along with this figure.

Wonder what ever happened to that guy that was trying to build some. Saw it in part at SDCC one year, it was gong to be awesome. He said he was going to see if he could get it licensed from LFL so that probably got caboshed. He should have just done it as fan kits like Jazz Inc's awesome dio's.
