I think they announced a Daredevil for the next figure. Could be wrong, but i could have sworn I saw a blurb on that somewhere.

So is Sideshow definitely still committed to this line? I've been worried that it might go the way their DC 1/6 line is going and sort of fade away. I really need a comic-style 1/6 Doctor Doom and I hope Sideshow's making him next.

I'd like to see next from Sideshow

Captain America (lots of Classic elements with Wings)
Thor (Classic as possible)
Dr Doom (Classic as possible)

I'm already predicting that around Q2 maybe even SDCC you'll see a Wolverine: Tiger Stripe version in yellow and blue done from this.

Is there a chance Hot toys will do a Old man Logan figure from the new film, or is that not possible?

I been asking for Sideshow to do a comic Dr. Doom figure for at least a couple of years now. It seems like they prefer to make figures they can put in kit bash looking pajamas.

That actually looks really good! I'm getting the real deal, and dont get knock offs to support the artists and licensed companies. But honestly given the insane prices SSC is charging for these now, I cant say I really blame folks for going this route.

Appreciate the input! :)

@Reefer Shark: I was on the Hot Toys side for MCU collection but somehow the X-Men craze caught on me, so I'm slowly getting the X-men movie line-up (Figure Masters Magneto, etc).
For this SS KO I would say it's a very impulsive buy (@ $28USD, I couldnt resist the price point :lol) to kitbash. The kit's body looks malnourished, I had to replace with a ganghood muscular body and some leg modifications to the ankles. I could see myself picking up the SS version if I'm into the comics line-up :clap

Where'd you find it for $28? And what's up with the weirdly bent fins on his mask? All the ones I find online have it. Can those be heated and reshaped?

Right on! Its pretty cool that other companies are putting out this stuff, and its never good limit yourself with one brand imo

I had to kick 1/6 HT mavel habit myself, but cant resist badass 1/6 scale comic versions of some of these characters.

Do people actually collect SSC Marvel? None of their offerings are appealing at all. They should stick with PFs.

I ordered the KO from a Chinese website. Upon conversion from my currency to USD is $28.
Packaging wise the whole figure is sealed in a transparent plastic bag and chucked inside the shoe box. This is why most of the mask fins are bent(?)

I followed KeyboardWarriors' suggestion in his YouTube video, and used steam to rectify the bent fin.

@Reefer Shark: :hi5:

I think their Wolverine looks okay (although I'm not a Wolverine fan or an X-Man fan) and Punisher was good except for the logo and boots not matching in color as I recall. DD looks good except for a couple areas of his outfit that look a little too kitbashed together. I think Sideshow's comic-based Marvel figures are much better than their comic-based DC figures, which suffer from oversized heads (Superman), misshapen bodies with stubby legs (Batman) and ugly faces (also Batman) that inexplicably don't have noses (Batman yet again.)

But I really wish Sideshow would have gotten to Doom much sooner.
