On another note...the black actually looks pretty good on Stalker. Suits better not sure if he ever wore a black beret though.

The original 12" Stalker too (not surprising given he was simply a larger version of the above):

Right on!!! I dig the look of him with a Black Beret and was hoping it was accurate somewhere in the Joe lore.

RnR sucks. I can't believe Sideshow would offer up a pathetic excuse of a figure like this. What the hell were they thinking? This has to be the worst release they have made in the GI Joe line. This figure makes Hasbro's 1:6 GI Joes look good. If I wasn't a completist, I would get rid of this thing.

J/K...I just wanted to see what a negative comment would look like in this thread.:)

I don't really like SSC's Bayformer take on Stalker and the issues with Commando SE need not be repeated which leaves R&R in a bit of a 1982/green shirt vacuum IMO. I'm preferring to focus my funds on more of a later series theme now that the new visored SE and CG are looking so awesome.
If he had had a different sculpt, I very likely would have picked up Stalker just because he was so important in the first GI Joe cartoon mini-series and comic. But I could not accept the head sculpt they chose for him.
