If you could only get one would it be this or the Chris Reeve??

Reeve without question. However, my current dilemma is that I alread have Reeve and MoS. I also have the DC PF coming and I'm not sure I need this since the PF will cover the comic angle, but dang he does look good. :gah:

movie superman verses comic book superman there is a huge difference. for the most part there hasnt been a man in Hollywood buff enough to play sups . and most body builders kinda have big heads or at least that is the appearance lol. So his jaw is perfect for the muscles he has going for him. I think maybe body builders don't know how to act outside of mediocre Arnold Schwarzenegger.

i don't know...Cavill was pretty buff to me!

I want him to display him with the heat vision.

this is the only sculpt that bothers me. Why copy what the PF already has. Go with an angry face and red eyes, still gives off the heat vision "look."

some people aren't getting the PF though

I get that, but don't copy what the same character has in another format. Be a little different, it just feels lazy on SS part.

Is it lazy to be consistent in your interpretation of the Iconic/Classic version of a character now?

I don't think so.
I have zero interest in any statues, of any kind. I like the look but loathe the lack of poseability.
That they have fairly accurately copied the statue with this figure is, for me at least, a bonus, so we can pose it like the statue for pics, but also in any other pose we want.
