im still going to jump on this one. i agree though that the pictures look pretty bad. i love the box art and the video still gives me hope that this will be a cool figure to add to the shelf. i picked up RAH hush joker last december and im glad i did. he looks great on display (so much better than the batman figure).

its nice to finally be offered something off the page as opposed to the screen. a comic based joker is not something i can pass up easily.

After seeing this video, I think this looks really, really good. It's not really futzed too well, but it has a lot of potential, and the headsculpt looks fantastic. I had to cancel my PO after SDCC, due to this sort of becoming further down on my list than need be, but it's at the point now where I might pick it up someday. They did a great job with packaging design, too. It really seems "higher end," if you will.

I know a lot of people complain about the $190 price tag, but, at the end of the day, that's the collecting world we're living in. Honestly, these figures get higher and higher, and to get a figure with that much stuff and some pretty good QC of a popular character for under $200 isn't too bad.

I am super excited about this guy. He looks really great. The outfit looks a little cheap, especially the shirt, but is still pretty close to the promo pics.

It is refreshing to finally get something 1/6 from the Batman universe that isn't from the movies. I think he is worth the price. If you use a coupon code you can get him from Sideshow for like $165-$170. plus you get the superb Joker fish.

I believe the SUMMEREND code works on him.

I think this is going to be one of my favorite figures once I get him in hand. Joker just works so well in 1/6 form.

Not a fan, hell I think SS dropped the ball on this, PF, and bust of the Joker. Some if the ugliest things ever produced. Sucks I'm buying this because my son wants it, looks cheap.

I just don't love this Joker :( When I saw the HT Crow, I knew I had to buy it. But unlike the Crow, it's like I'm trying to like this figure lol....that can't be good? I think the lack of futzing hurts the figure a little bit. The coat doesn't look great, but again it could be the reviewer's fault. The only accessory I didn't like was the silver gun with the BANG flag, looks very cheap, unfortunately. I think the main head sculpt looks pretty good and the paint is better than I expected. But that price tag is a bit much, that's HT territory, but I'm not sure the HT quality is there. Maybe I'll wait for Sideshow to make another Joker. They remake figures all the time, right? Maybe they'll make another one, from the 70's or a golden age version.

I agree with this becoming a "down the road" item for me as well. All the MoS stuff plus other things like Nathan Drake PF and the not Johnny Depp "Chicago Gangster" coming soonish, this just drops in priority.

Futzing. .

it is just futzing though? all the clothes seem to be made of the same fabric, which i think is a mistake (and a strange one for kato, though he may have been limited?).

i ain't hating on the figure ~ it's just hard to decide whether i want it enough.

love love love those jokerfish.

I won't know for sure until I get a chance to futz him myself. :D

But I'll tell you what, I'm sure glad I'm gonna get the chance.

I agree I get so bored with every toy and collectible company out their jumping on the band wagon creating their version of a movie character and then we get over flooded with redundancy. When we get stuff like this it's like a rare gift you can only say thank you because you never know when it will happen again.

We live in a pop culture where everything happening now is so important and tossesd away the next. Classics get over looked until things are shoved in are face repetitively to the point we turn are head and admire and see the classics and appreciate them for their rarity in this everything in the now culture.

I just saw a video review of this figure and have to say that I am thoroughly impressed. SSC did an incredible job. I will need to find a way to work this into the collection if possible.

Edit: here's the video

Yeah, I went back and don't see it either. Must have been a video in a link. :dunno

Either way, can't wait! :D

Great looking figure. The trench coat doesn't look too good in my opinion (after looking at the photos and video), although I believe it was intended to go over the jacket not substituted for it i.e. it's being presented 'incorrectly' by Comicvine.

it's so badly futzed in the video, it's hard to tell. the original design, if you can get it to look like this, is amazing:

can't wait to see in-hand picks from the forum peeps.
