The shape of the lightsabre blade is awful, worse than the UU one even. Looking forward to seeing this in hand, undecided about the head sculpt and paint app, still looks very basic. Haven't even gotten shipping notice yet. :( But overall looks a lot better than i was expecting..

That's why it's a good job there's the second lightsabre included too. The normal one that doesn't light up.

I wonder if the plastic belt was a way to keep costs down. I imagine assembling the old leather ones must have been time consuming and pricey.

been telling people for months, yet no one listens Khev.

So, for the man that has him in hand, hows the non-electronic lit lightsaber compare to the older sideshow sabers?

Pretty horrible for 2012 product anyway.

Zartan, Rock N Roll and Falcon all turned out as good or better.

Idk about better. Zartan and EX RnR sculpt maybe but RnR's reg and Falcon's paint are good but don't look better than this.

For SS it's a step forward for sure. The thing is they should've done it at least 4 years ago.
Lit-up lightsaber is the only thing that doesn't look dated.

How would it have been better off without the light up saber? I'm really looking forward to seeing what that's like.

That's key, sideshow is behind this, and we all know their 1:6 aren't as good as rival companies, so I'm extremely happy with this for what it is! I can't wait to get charged! :lol

Not only that, but I think ppl sometimes forget that SS doesn't just make 1/6 figures. They put their resources in all types of scales and collectibles. It's not like HT or EB who are primarily focused on one scale and one type of collectible
